In consideration thereof, please feel invited to submit your bids for: 

We are inviting you herewith to submit your bids for the delivery of Salt bath furnace. Key Furnace Design Parameters A.1.1. Approximate working zone: 600x300x500mm deep A.1.2. Approximate operating range: up to 500°C A.1.3. Approximate weight capacity: 5kg A.1.4. Shall be conform to AMS2750D, Type D, Class 2 configuration. A.1.5. Shall be equipped with ventilation system A.1.6. Shall be conform to attached General Equipment Specification for HSW

C.4) Manual Quenching Station (salt – KOH) Key Design Parameters C.4.1. Approximate working zone: φ600x900 deep C.4.2. Approximate weight capacity: up to 10kg C.4.3. Operating range: up to 250°C C.4.4. Shall be equipped with quenching/lifting platform with a closure/lid mechanism C.4.5. Shall be equipped with ventilation system C.4.6. Shall be equipped with recorder and controler conform to AMS2750D, Type D Equipment Requirements: 2.1 Equipment Capacity 1

2.1.1 Equipment layout / footprint shall be as small as possible 2.1.2 Equipment shall be floor level design with no part of equipment below floor level 2.2 Equipment Design & Capability 2.2.1 Equipment design shall allow for fully automated controlled of all operating parameters – time and temperature 2.2.2 Equipment design shall be such that the use of power and any process gasses is kept to a minimum 2.2.3 The working zone shall allow easy access for nine temperature uniformity survey thermocouples which shall be attached to a temperature uniformity survey rack complete with heat sink that meet AMS 2750 D requirement, to be supplied by supplier 2.2.4 The working zone shall have an access port allowing for System Accuracy Testing (SAT) thermocouple insertion to within 3” of the furnace temperature control thermocouple as per AMS 2750 D requirement 2.2.5 Control and SAT thermocouples shall be compliant to AMS 2750 D and documentation (Polish and English) shall be provided with installation 2.2.6 Equipment controller and temperature recorder shall be compliant to AMS 2750 D and documentation (Polish and English) shall be provided with installation 2.3 Loading/Unloading System 2.3.1 The stationary loading/unloader system shall be provided as an option (if available) 2.4 Temperature Control and Uniformity 2.4.1 For the working zone operating range see attached presentation 2.4.2 Equipment shall meet the temperature uniformity, control and recording accuracy requirements as stated in AMS 2750 D 2.4.3 Nine point temperature uniformity +/- 6 ºC for whole operating range. 2.4.4 Control accuracy of +/-0.3% as per AMS 2750 D 2.4.5 Equipment shall meet the (system accuracy test) SAT requirement as per AMS 2750 D 2.5 Process Control 2.5.1 Equipment shall be capable of running in either full automatic or manual modes using provided control system 2.6 Recording 2.6.1 Chart recorder shall be capable of recording temperatures in the range of room temperature up to see attached presentation and meet the AMS 2750 D requirement. Variables to be recorded include time and Equipment temperature as a minimum 2.6.2 Chart recorder type shall meet AMS 2750 D requirement 2.7 Utilities 2.7.1 Equipment is to be electrical heated 2.7.2 Electrical supply is 400V, 3 Phase/230 V, 50Hz 2.7.3 Nitrogen volume and pressure requirments shall be provided to HSW

2.7.4 Water supply volume and pressure requirments shall be provided to HSW by furnace manufacturer 2.8 Pre-Fabrication Acceptance & Offsite Testing 2.8.1 HSW shall review and approve all system & support drawings prior to fabrication of the furnace to include furnace design, gas & instrument control panel(s), plumbing and electrical schematics and utility requirements, foundation, loader/unloader and weight of equipment. 2.9 Pre-Shipment Acceptance at Supplier 2.9.1 A mutually acceptable pre-shipment checklist including buyoff at supplier shall be performed prior to shipment. 2.10 Final Acceptance at Hamilton Sundstrand Pacific Aerospace Pte Ltd 2.10.1 Temperature Uniformity Survey (TUS) – Nine point temperature uniformity survey acceptance at both the minimum and the maximum operating temperature in accordance with AMS 2750 D 2.10.2 System Accuracy Survey (SAT) - Audit thermocouple placed within 3” of control thermocouple shall correlate within 1.7ºC with audit thermocouple correction factor applied as per AMS 2750 D. 2.11 Warranty 2.11.1 Equipment is to be warranted for a two-year minimum period. The warranty period shall begin immediately following the date of final acceptance. 2.11.2 Free Technical support via telephone, email and/or remote access for service life of the equipment 2.11.3 Information about service reaction time shall be added 2.12 Installation 2.12.1 The supplier is to provide Service Engineer to supervise installation, start-up, and checkout. 2.12.2 The supplier shall be responsible for all related travel and living expenses for the Service Engineer and labor for the duration of installation. 2.12.3 The Service Engineer shall document all problems and issues related to start-up/check-out and provide evidence of resolution. 2.12.4 The supplier shall include updated mechanical/electrical/logical engineering prints upon completion of installation. 2.12.5 The Service Engineer shall produce a list spare parts that is essential for minimized downtime and provide source and lead time if not a shelf item. 2.12.6 The Service Engineer shall provide training on furnace operation, start-up and shut down procedures, preventative maintenance schedules and safety procedures. 2.12.7 Manual in English and Polish shall be provided 2.13 General Quotation Requirements 2.13.1 Quotation shall include all utility requirements to include electrical, nitrogen, water, and any other gasses and ventilation.

2.13.2 Quotation is to include schematic layout drawings showing top, front and side views with utility hook-up and control cabinet(s) locations, foundations. 2.13.3 Quotation should include cost free training for equipment operators and maintenance 2.13.4 Quotation shall include delivery time and installation time 2.13.5 The offer shall be provided in English and Polish 2.14 Safety Standards 2.14.1 Equipment is to be designed and constructed to meet all applicable CE Certification 2.14.2 Comply with local Workplace Safety and HS Wrocław EMS – 100 procedure 2.14.3 Signal lights and audible alarms for excess temperature, low water flow, and end of cycle. 2.14.4 Other such standards that are known by Equipment Manufacturers. 3.

Quotation selection criteria.

The bids will be subject to an assessment related to the following selection criteria. For each criterion, a final score will be granted on the base of a written quotation submitted by the bidder. The quotation selection criteria are: a)

Price (0 – 30 points),

b)

Payment terms (0 – 30 points),

c)

Operating cost (0 - 20 pkt.),

d)

Experience in this kind of systems (0 – 20 points.),

e)

Warranty conditions (0 - 20 points.).

Quotation preparation methodology.

The submitted quotation shall include as a minimum: a)

name and address of the bidder,

b)

be compiled on the company’s headed letter or with the affixed company’s stamp,

c)

indicate the date of compilation,

d)

be signed by the bidder’s representative authorised to contract obligations on behalf of the bidder.

The quotation shall be valid at least for the time period of 2 months (the quotation has to be valid on the day of order submission. It is highlighted that pursuant to the standards of the UTC Group to which HS Wroclaw belongs, the procurement and the cooperation with sub-contractors follow based on the environment protection criteria and social accountability of the business. Therefore, potential sub-contractors should become familiar with Contractors and Suppliers Selection Policy Accomplished by HS Wroclaw Sp. z o.o.(constitutes an attachment to the request for quotation) and should include the following statement: ″I hereby declare that I’m fully aware of the rules of the Contractors and Suppliers Selection Policy Accomplished by HS Wroclaw Sp. z o.o that constitutes an attachment to the request for quotation”.

Lead time.

The lead time is expected by Januaty 2013 at latest.

6.

Remuneration form and payment terms.

The remuneration for the delivery of the equipment will be settled in form of a bank transfer to the account as specified by the Bidder. The suggested payment time is within 60 days after the issuance of the invoice.

7.

Delivery cost.

The cost of the delivery of the equipment is to be borne by supplier .

8.

Submission of bids.

It is expected to submit quotations (in Polish or English) at latest on 31.07.2012 until 12:00 p.m. in an electronic format to the email addresses of the Ordering Party’s employees as specified below or by registered mail, via a courier company or personally at the Company’s seat in the Main Secretariat. If you are not interested by submitting a quotation, please confirm this fact. Moreover, you are advised that in case of any doubts, the Polish language version shall prevail. 9.

Selection of the winning bid.

The selection of the winning bid will follow within 30 days of the day of expiration of the final time for the submission of quotation. Explanations related to the request for quotation will be provided by: 
