Gardens of El Vergel After two months of cutting grass everyday. It became overwhelming; I needed to do something else. The straw that broke the camels back was, Luis the other person that helps me, his Lawn mower broke down, and was taken to the shop, this happens a lot. It has been used very heavily for six years. So what to do I thought, I knew I had a handful of students that were part of my Garden Club, but they were only available after Five in the evening, plus they needed a little motivation. So I put the word out that I would pay, $2.00 per hour for help in the Gardens. They flocked to my door. It’s amazing what ten youth seventeen and under can accomplish. My problem has been solved. It cost me about $100.00 a week, but it is well worth it. By the end of the month, when they leave to go home for summer vacation, they will have some Christmas Money, plus the Green areas at the school will be taken care of,

Work at my Church “Villa EAMMUS”

When I returned from my Itineration this past August, I felt I needed to do more in my Church. I new that I wanted to clean up the back yard and finish building a Bar-b-que area. Well this is what has happened. Upon returning the New Pastor has Put my wife and I in charge of a Friday Night home Bible study Group. The next thing that happened was that I have been nominated and elected to be the Administrator of my Church and also one of the delegates that represents our church at all Southern District Meetings, and National Conference’s. I have also been reinstated as one of six Preachers in Our Church. All of these assignments have definitely increased my workload at my Church. Which I humbly accept and pray that God will continue to use me to help my Church Community .

……………………………………………………………………… …… Cristina and I want to wish upon you and your loved ones a Bessed Christmas and Happy New year. Know that God is working in all of the world. Pray for our leaders, and for all those in need. John and Cristina Elmore Casilla 262 Angol Chile.
