1994 November 16: The hotel’s name changed from the SAS Hotel Kuwait to the Radisson SAS Hotel Kuwait 2000 Opening of Al Hashemi II recognized by the Guinness Records Book as the largest wooden dhow 2009 The hotel chain changes its name to the Radisson Blu 2010 Mr. Philippe Pellaud returns as GM to the Radisson Blu Hotel Kuwait for its 30th Anniversary Celebration
