Installing QuoteRush
Installing Quoterush is easy! Just follow the steps below exactly. If you run into any problems, they Installation Diagram on the next page may help guide you to the appropriate solution. 1) Visit www.quoterush.com/demo 2) Click the first link at the top of the page "Quoterush II New Install Setup Package" 3) Open or Run the file to begin the installation. 4) Make sure you Install Quoterush to your program files directory. This is most often located at "C: \Program Files\QuoteRush2\". IMPORTANT! Allowing quoterush to install into another location may cause issues during daily use. 5) When you complete the installation Quoterush will run for the first time, and attempt to run a short update. If you experience issues during updates or the update process fails please consult the installation diagram on the next page. 6) Many Quoterush features depend on Java to work appropriately. Verify you have java installed, and that it is fully up to date. If you do not have Java and are unsure how to install it, please refer to pg. ____ "Installing Java". 7) Internet explorer needs some special configuration settings in order to run appropriately with Quoterush. Please refer to pg. ____ "Configuring IE Settings" for a detailed description of internet explorer configuration. 8) ALL DONE!

Configuring IE Settings To configure Internet Explorer the following options must be configured. Follow the steps exactly and do not change any settings other then the following. We recommend all steps be taken by a certified IT professional. Failure to follow these directions may result in unintentional damage to your computer. 1) Open your internet explorer browser. Located the internet options icon, in Internet Explorer 10 it looks like this.
2) Under the security tab for internet click the "custom level" button.

3) "Allow Scriptlets" should be "Enabled".
4) "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints" should be "enabled".
5) "Use Pop-up Blocker" should be "Disabled"

6) "Scripting of Java applets" should be "Enabled".
7) Repeat steps 2 through 6 for Internet Sites & Trusted Sites. Then click the "Advanced Tab". 8) Under accessability check the boxes for "Reset text size level to medium while zooming" and "reset zoom level for new windows and tabs".

9) Scroll down to the "Security" settings near the bottom of the window. Now make sure the following boxes are checked. "Use SSL 2.0, Use SSL 3.0, Use TLS1.0, Use TLS1.1, Use TLS 1.2"
10) Click "Apply" and "OK" Congradulations! Your internet explorer settings should be correctly configured to work with Quoterush!

Open up internet explorer and type www.java.com/en/download into the address bar. Click "Free Java Download" to download the most recent version. Follow the prompts to continue with the Java installation.
Follow the prompts to complete the Java installation.
NOTE: You may need to restart (close and re-open) your browser to enable the Java installation in your browser.
