INTRODUCTION

Dear Colleagues: The following guide has been compiled in an effort to provide Providence Public School District staff information about important policies and procedures that have been identified as pivotal to the registration and placement process. This guide should be used to assist principals and their staff to work through questions and tasks related to the enrollment of students and the services provided at the Student Registration and Placement Center. Remember, that in addition to this guide, the Student Registration and Placement Center Staff are available to assist you. If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or one of the center’s staff as listed in the Staff Directory on page two of this guide.
