Prayer Directives Day 1 

1 Chronicles 16: 23 – 36 Key Verse 29b - Bring an offering, and come before Him. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! (NKJV) o Bring an offering of praise before him o Declare His greatness o Thank Him for every good thing o Remember how He has helped you in times of need and declare the testimony

Day 2 

Psalm 24: 1 – 6 Key Verse(s) 3, 4 - 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. (NKJV) o Take some time before the Lord to ask if there is anything between Him and you o Ask if there are any wrong ideas or wrong motives that separate the two of you o Praise Him for His holiness and ask Him to make you holy and prepare you for intercession o Ask the Lord to reveal to you anything that may have become so important that it has pushed God out of His rightful place in your heart and affections and become idolatrous

Day 3 

Psalm 103: 17 - 17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children… (NKJV) o Cry out for the fear (awe) of the Lord to increase in our homes o Pray for an increased passion for parents to raise kids in the fear (awe) of the Lord o Pray for parents to have wisdom to lead their families in such a way that demonstrates well the love of the Lord o Pray for parents’ increased discernment to understand what should and should not be allowed in their home o Pray for an atmosphere of honor and respect in the home

Day 4 

Mark 9: 36, 37 - 36 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.” (NKJV) o Pray for all people who have contact with our children to realize the treasure that they are

Pray for the teachers that have contact with our children. Call any by name that you may know Ask for God to put Godly teachers in the classrooms and bring salvation to the lost Begin to bless all programs that are allowed to lift up the name of the Lord Pray for boldness and protection for teachers to speak truth and ask for a mighty harvest to come Cry out for the kids around our nation that have experienced trama through shootings or natural disasters Stand in the gap for protection for our little ones

Day 5 

1Timothy 2: 1 – 4 - 1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (NKJV) o God help our tongues to speak heaven over all our leaders o Ask God if you need to repent for critical attitudes or words toward our leaders o Begin to bless all in authority over you to walk in integrity – Call them by name o Ask God to raise up Godly people to speak into the ears of our leaders o Pray for Godly wisdom and truth to rise up o Pray for Godly decisions to be made and His insight to overwhelm their thinking so that their decisions bless Him

Day 6 

Isaiah 8:11-12 - 11 This is what the LORD says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people:12 “Do not call conspiracy everything this people calls a conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it. (NIV) o Start by confessing that His ways are not our ways o Ask the Lord to give us His perspective and raise up faith in us to pray His perspective o Pray, “Lord, we declare that You are the creator, that You created the heavens and the earth. We declare that You are sovereign and You are the true and living God. We declare that you are the solution to every problem and that You are the calm and order to the chaos. Your ways are always right and always good. We look to You to lead us and guide us into all truth. We put our trust in You.”

Day 7 

1 Samuel 14: 15, 20 - 15 Then panic struck the whole army—those in the camp and field, and those in the outposts and raiding parties—and the ground shook. It was a panic sent by God.

Then Saul and all his men assembled and went to the battle. They found the Philistines in total confusion, striking each other with their swords. (NIV) o Pray for God to send confusion into the camp of ISIS o Ask for such a panic that they turn on each other o Ask for God to supernaturally sustain and rescue each hostage o Pray for the families of those whose loved ones have been taken by them o Ask for salvation for any that can and will be saved

Day 8 

Jeremiah 17: 7-8 - 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (NKJV) o Pray, “Lord, we declare that our trust is in You. We praise you because You are our provider. Lord, we ask You to bless the finances of Your church. We ask that every place that exalts You as Lord will be a place of plenty and will bear much fruit. We declare that our business plan is You. You lack NOTHING and are the God of more than enough. We pray for wisdom and creativity to bless others as you bless us. o Pray for Pastor Nathan, staff, finance committee and board as they lead our church in this area

Day 9 

Psalm 139: 13 – 16 - 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (NIV) o Praise Him for the miracle of each and every life o Repent for each life that has been taken by abortion on behalf of our country o Cry out for mercy o Declare truth to lies, for example, “We declare that from the moment of conception, there is life. A precious baby formed in His image that He has plans for o Ask for conviction to fall upon all medical staff involved in any way o Ask for Godly encounters for women considering abortion that will bring truth and light in a ‘suddenly’ moment o Ask for businesses that support abortion to fall into financial disarray

Day 10 

Titus 2: 11 – 14 - 11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the

glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (NIV) o Ask God to restore us to a culture of purity o Ask Him to begin in the church so that we can become a bride without spot or wrinkle o Ask Him to give us His heart for what is of Him and a distaste for things not of Him o Ask Him to make clear the line between Godly and ungodly, holy and unholy. o Ask Him to lift the veils so that all choices of His people will bring Him glory and honor o Call for the church to awaken and to raise up a standard of holiness o Call for the churches that are ordaining homosexual pastors back to the standard and truth of His word o Pray for the Word of the Lord to be revered and upheld in love

Day 11  

Ephesians 5:13 - 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. (NIV) Galatians 5:19-21 - 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. (NIV) o Thank Him for His truth that brings freedom and the power to die to the things of the flesh o Cry out for the victims of acts of the sinful nature o Declare freedom for the captives of sex trafficking o Ask God to bring to light what is hidden in the darkness o Ask for the schemes of the enemy to be exposed and destroyed o Ask for the foundations of the sex trafficking industry to shake and crumble so that the chains fall off and the captives walk freely out

Day 12 

Luke 15:11 –31 Key Verse 17 - 17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! (NIV) o Begin to pray for all of the prodigal children to come to their senses and remember the truth that is planted in them o Call them out of the pigpens and back to their rightful place as children of the King o Call for their ears to be opened to hear the Father’s call o Tell their eyes to open to truth and understanding of their present squalor o Tell their hearts to long for the things of God again o Declare the promise that they were trained up in the way they should go and they will not depart from it AND they will be healed

o o

Ask the Holy Spirit to brood and hover above them and bring a conviction that calls them from dark to light Call them home. Call them by name.

Day 13 

Ephesians 1: 15–19a - 15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. (NIV) o Ask for and receive a spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we can know Him even better o Ask for our hearts to be fully engaged and for spiritual complacency to fall to the ground o Ask for a hunger to intensify in the body of Christ o Ask for the eyes of our hearts to be opened wider so that we can grasp all that He has called us to. That we will fulfill the plan that He has for His church. o Tell Him that you want to be a display of His splendor and His power so that He can be known o Tell Him that you want a love for Him that consumes our hearts and therefore transforms the cities we are in

Day 14 

Romans 13:1 - 1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. (NIV) o Ask God to send His ordained authorities and to establish them in their places for upcoming elections o Ask Him to begin highlighting these leaders to His people and the nation so that His ways will be upheld in our country once more o Ask Him to prepare the leaders’ hearts for office so that they can stand firm on His truths and not buckle to the pressure of the world o Ask for Christians to recognize these individuals and for the world to be inexplicably drawn to them and that a unity of truth will draw all men together

Day 15 

Psalm 122:6 - 6 Pray for peace in Jerusalem. May all who love this city prosper. (NLT) o Pray for peace for Jerusalem on ALL its borders o Begin to declare restoration over it o Pray for our president to have a supportive stance toward them

Day 16 

John 8:44 - 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (NIV) o Begin to declare truth to confront the lies our culture has come to believe  Sex before marriage is a sin  Pornography is not every man’s battle  Homosexuality is a sin and God did not create us with it in mind  You can have fun without alcohol  Marijuana is NOT harmless  Marriage is between 1 man and 1 woman  Calling sin sin, as the bible defines it is not judgmental  Looking or simply flirting is NOT OK for married men and women o Ask for divine opportunities to display His love, compassion, truth and light to the lost o Ask for Him to give us His heart for the lost o Ask God to show us how He sees each lost individual and how to minister effectively to them o Pray for God to work through our outreach ministries here

Day 17 

Mark 16:15 – 15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. (NIV) o Pray for the shepherd’s of the flock, all ministers of the Gospel. Bless them to walk in truth and humility. Bless them to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Bless them to bless those in their care. o Pray for Godly men and women of good character to be honored and well cared for o Pray for the missionaries all around the world. Pray for multitudes to hear and respond and for thousands to be added to the fold daily o Pray for His protection and provision for each minister of the Gospel o Pray for divine favor for those who are walking uprightly before the Lord o Pray for a silencing of false prophets and those who offer profane fire o Pray for each ministry worldwide that operates in righteousness to prosper. That each step taken will take back territory that the enemy has stolen.

Day 18 

Joshua 1:9 - 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (NIV) o Thank the Lord for strong and courageous men and women who serve in the military past and present o Thank the Lord for the freedom we have because of their service o Ask the Lord to give them victory as they defend against terrorism o Pray for their families and call out any individuals you know by name

o

Ask the Lord to shelter their minds from Trauma, fear and anger. That they will come home whole in body, mind and spirit

Day 19 

1 John 4:18 - 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (NKJV) o Pray for His perfect love to be made manifest in places of recent terrorist attacks… Canada, Paris, The Philippines, Syria and all war ridden areas and places of upheaval o Ask for His perfect love to be made tangible in abusive households o Ask for His perfect love to surround those who recently lost loved ones o Ask for His presence to reach into the lives of those who just received frightening diagnosis and for a release of His healing o Ask for His perfect love to invade the homeless, hungry and hopeless o Ask Him to send His perfect love into every hospital, nursing home, prison and psychiatric facility. Ask that He would send His anointing to break chains in those places as well o Ask for that perfect love to go into each school and each place of business to reach those who are being bullied and threatened. Ask Him to touch each one feeling the pain of loneliness. To cancel each worry, all anxiety and every stress

Day 20  

James 1:20 - 20 …for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (NKJV) Ecclesiastes 7:9 - 9 Do not hasten in your spirit to be angry, For anger rests in the bosom of fools. (NKJV) o The world is an angry place. Ask God to begin healing the wounds that cause anger to burn o Ask for the fruit of self-control to bloom and grow in His children o Ask for forgiveness to sweep the hearts of the violated, abused, attacked, criticized, neglected, maimed, families of murdered loved ones, wrongly accused victims of terror and the overlooked ones of our society o Pray for healing and revelation to come to each temper. Pray for them to have eyes to see the damage that their angry behaviors have caused. Pray for that to pierce their heart o Bind up anger, rage and bitterness and send it to dry places and release self-control, patience, perseverance, compassion, humility, peace and reconciliation o Ask Him to bring truth to misunderstanding o Speak love to the hatred of prejudice o Speak resolve to frustration

Day 21 

John 3:16 - 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (NKJV)

Pray that this would be a truth that permeates our culture Pray that the true meaning of this piece of scripture would be fully understood in all men and women Pray that this scripture would remove the veils over people’s eyes that keep them from seeing the ONE TRUE epitome of a Father – one that loves them and sees them as a treasure – enough of a treasure that He would allow HIS OWN Son to come and live a lowly life among us and be accused, mocked and killed, just to be able to have a relationship with us Pray that this all-encompassing love would saturate our world and change it
