Pennypack Running Club Grades 4 & 5

Dear Fourth and Fifth Grade Families, Do you want to get FIT? Do you like to have FUN? Then come RUN and HAVE FUN with your friends in the PENNYPACK RUNNING CLUB! The Running Club will meet on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 3:15 to 4:00 PM beginning Thursday, September 22nd through Thursday, October 27th . A parent or guardian is required to pick up their child promptly at 4:00pm. If school is closed or there is inclement weather, Running Club will be cancelled and students will go home as usual. In addition to having a lot of fun getting fit we will be training for the SKELETON SKURRY on October 29th, sponsored by the Hatboro YMCA. A follow up letter will be sent home with registration details for the YMCA SKELETON SKURRY. Students should wear SNEAKERS and appropriate clothing for running outside. To ensure student safety, if a student is not dressed appropriately for the weather or forgets to wear sneakers, the child cannot participate in the activities for that day. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle as well.
