Dixie Chopper President Art Evans says the decision to use Lucas Oil products in all Dixie Chopper mowers was an easy one. “We reviewed test results from two of our hydraulic pump suppliers,” Evans said, “and during the test, Lucas Oil showed a substantial drop in the operating temperature of 10 degrees. Not only did the operating temperature drop, but the time taken to reach peak operating temperature was doubled.” The time taken to reach peak operating temperature went from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Lucas Oil was created by Forrest Lucas who began tinkering with motor oil while running his small trucking firm in the late 1980s. Altering the way it is mixed, he hit on a formula that produced better results than the best-known brands. “I had heard about Lucas Oil several years ago,” Evans explained. “I tried it a few times in some of my personal equipment, and was amazed at the performance and the durability of the lubricants. Being an ex-drag racer, I understand the importance of having a lubricant that really does what the manufacturer says it will do. This process, now known as “Quad Loop”, is normally associated with applications of 100 horsepower or more. You won’t find the “Quad Loop” on look-a-likes. The Dixie Chopper drive train utilizes two hydraulic pumps and two hydraulic motors, eliminating all chains, sprockets, gear cases, and other mechanical reduction devices. When the machine is at work, the “Quad Loop” system constantly flushes and replaces the high pressure oil with cool, filtered oil at the rate of .5 gpm, giving twice the life of other hydraulic systems. Turbo Pre-Cleaner The Turbo Pre-Cleaner needs no elaborate plumbing or adapters to draw air from an air cleaner environment. The Turbo Pre-Cleaner will eject 98% of the contaminants and not let them enter the engine’s air stream. When your engine is working, contaminants enter the air filtration system and cause a restriction. This restriction causes the engine to progressively lose horsepower until it can no longer function. With the Turbo PreCleaner, the majority of contaminants are kept from ever entering the airstream, thus the horsepower remains higher, longer. When dirt is kept out of the filter system, fuel burns cleaner with fewer exhaust contaminants entering the atmosphere.

Complete Unit The warranty period is limited to one year from the date of retail purchase on behalf of the original owner of a Dixie Chopper complete unit. This warranty will provide the cost of repair or replacement (at the discretion of Dixie Chopper) of the defective part, including labor. This warranty applies in like form to the original retail purchaser of a Dixie Chopper complete unit used commercially, or for income producing purposes. Additionally, Dixie Chopper will provide to the original purchaser beyond the initial one-year warranty as stated above, any main-frame due to breakage, or any stainless steel body due to rust, for the useful life period of the machine. This additional “lifetime warranty” covers stated parts ONLY...NO LABOR. Drive Train The hydrostatic drive components (pumps, wheel motors, and Tbox), of the Dixie Chopper complete unit will be warranteed for two years from the retail purchase date on behalf of the original owner against defects in materials or workmanship. Labor required to repair or replace components of the hydrostatic drive system will be covered by Dixie Chopper for the 1st year, and at the unit owners expense during the 2nd year from the original purchase date. Engine Engine warranty is provided by the engine manufacturer. Please refer to the engine manufacturer warranty statement included within the ownership materials provided with the unit. Tires, Blades, and Belts Tires, blades, and belts are considered to be consumable wear items, and are therefore warranteed for a period of 90 days against materials or workmanship defects, not for w wear or abuse.
