Welcome to Max’s Pizza Company and Thank You for Joining us! Owners Grant and Natalya Sharp are all about good natural food and after more than 40 years of combined experience in the restaurant industry, the Sharps know the business. Eighteen of those years have been spent right here on the Outer Banks crafting epicurean delights. The couple, with Grant (Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, France graduate) as head chef, have an unwavering commitment to providing foods made only from scratch, using the freshest, all-natural ingredients that are sourced both locally and imported. We use only “King Arthur” unbleached and unbromated flour to make our dough fresh daily, which is completely vegan friendly and make our pizza sauce and marinara using “Stanislaus” vine-ripened tomatoes from California that go from the plant to the can in less than three hours. We daily shred all-natural “Bacio” mozzarella cheese, which made from only milk and enzymes and a blend of whole cow milk and buffalo milk mozzarella. All the vegetables at Max’s Pizza are fresh and cut in house and our bread is baked locally by “Proof Bakery” daily. Our New York style pizza, along with its calzones and stromboli are baked to perfection in a “Marsal & Sons” stone oven deck.
And Max’s isn’t just about great pizza. Most all of our menu items crafted right in the restaurant, including mouth-watering meatballs, lasagna, manicotti and house-roasted Italian sausage, homemade mozzarella sticks, freshpressed paninis and a variety of oven-baked subs, as well as homemade soup, fresh salads and scrumptious desserts.
Max’s Pizza Company also hosts a diverse selection of local, domestic, imported and micro-brewed beers along with fine wines carefully selected by experienced wine professionals. Awhile you waiting for your order you can submerge in our family-friendly atmosphere and local surf culture, as well as colorful local art by Barbara Noel (www.obxbarb.com) and Ann Rubino. We have complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, you also can watch Classic Surf Films on one of ours large screen TVs.
We are open year round for lunch and dinner and also offering take out and free delivery of the entire menu, along with its beer and wine selection from Southern Shores/Kitty Hawk to the Wright Brother’s National Memorial in Kill Devil Hills and Kill Devil Hills Oceanside.
