Photographer, Fabio Mantegna has captured this world with exclusive photos focusing on the daily life of the Swiss Guard. An unusual and rare “full immersion” in the Swiss Quarter has captured unique images such as the other pledge, free time, sport and military training, traditional uniform dressing and personal relationships. In addition to the photographs, the exhibit includes actual Swiss Guard accoutrements such as the official uniforms, helmets, and swords. This exhibit, direct from the Vatican, will be on display through January 15th, in various chapels in the North Ambulatory of the Cathedral.
