Overview of LaserBuzz Software LaserBuzz software is a collection of ready to use patterns. These patterns are opened in Corel DRAW and printed to the laser in a conventional manor. These patterns are very versatile, they can be customized using DRAW tools and are compatible with all lasers that can be driven by Corel DRAW version 10 or higher. Also, the LaserBuzz patterns can be cut using a minimum of 25 watts. Several collections of patterns are available and grouped by subject, such as Pets. Within each subject collection 40 different patterns exist. Some patterns have multiple designs for each subject which, in turn, create several variations on the same theme. Each subject is also broken down into style type, 1D or 3D. A typical material for this is birch plywood, but innovative materials such as acrylic or engraving plastic may also be used. Using your LaserBuzz CD & DVD's: 1. The first step is to watch the video included with the software. The video includes step by step instructions and will give you an idea of how the whole process works. *Click on this links provided below to see a sampling of the 15 videos which will be included on your DVD. 2. Next load the installation CD included with the software. The wizard will prompt you through the process to install and a restart of your computer will be required. 3. When your computer restarts, launch DRAW and then open the pattern you would like to laser cut. The cutting pattern will include the multiple pieces needed for the layouts and are ready to laser cut. Customization is easily done by editing the graphic using DRAW tools and the process to do so is outlined in the instructional video. 4. After laser cutting the wood pieces, some will be painted and then assembled using standard woodworkers glue. Remember: The design patterns are very accurate so the laser cut parts fit exceptionally well making the assembly process a snap. Like any new project, allow extra time for the first time use for testing that needs to be done.
