Mach ISOFIX Car Seat - Approved for a child weighing 9 to 18 kg Isofix is the worldwide standardised fitting system between a car and a child seat. It considerably reduces installation problems and optimises protection by means of a rigid connection between the child seat and the car. Below is the current application list of vehicles in which the Mach Isofix seat has been approved for use. NOTE: The Mach ISOFIX car seat is not approved for use in cars that do not appear on this application list.

Mach ISOFIX Car Seat Approval types
The BMW, Mitsubishi Colt (3 and 5 door), Smart For Four, and Suzuki Swift (EZ, MZ) are recent Isofix approvals which require an additional foam pad. Prior to the information about the pad BMW did not appear on the product application list.
A) Installation with ISOFIX (vehicle-specific) This is an ISOFIX child restraint, approved to ECE R 44/04 (vehicle-specific category) only in vehicles listed in the following type approval list on seats which are equipped with ISOFIX anchors. B) Installation in conjunction with ISOFIX and TopTether (universal) 1. This is an ISOFIX child restraint system. It is approved in accordance with ECE R 44/04 for general use in vehicles equipped with ISOFIX anchoring systems. 2. It will fit on all vehicle seats approved as ISOFIX seats (as explained in the vehicle owner’s manual), depending on the weight class of the child seat the ISOFIX size category. 3. The weight class and the ISOFIX size category provided for this child restraint system is B1 (9 - 18 kg). 4. If you have purchased a Mach ISOFIX car seat without TopTether, you can buy it as accessory from your local Mothercare store.
