1: demount the front panel with a check-card, its just pined Als erstes seitlich mit Check-Karten die Frontblende entnehmen, diese ist nur geclipst

2: Demount the ac panel and screw it backside at the bezel, use the small inox plates, turn the longer sides of the plates to the center and srew them down with 2,9 x 13 mm srews. Nehmen sie das Klimabedienteil aus der Frontblende und setzen dieses rückseitig in die Blende. Verwenden sie die beiden Metallplättchen, wobei die längere Seite zum Blendenmitte zeigt, mit beiliegenden schrauben 2,9 x 13 anziehen
3. Set up a dummy construction on the workbench Put the grommets in the device-holder holes, hold the bezel co-linear at buttom (arrow)
Dummy-Konstruktion auf der Werkbank. Die beiden Gummitüllen in den Gerätehalter setzen, die Blende so positionieren, dass sie am unteren Enden (roter Pfeil) eben zur Blechkante sitzt

4: put I the double-din device now from the backside, look after that the bottom border is still same as metal border
Das DDin Gerät nun von hinten in die Dummy Konstruktion einschieben, dabei achten, dass die Unterkante der Blende collinear zur Blechkante bleibt

5. Center the ddin device to the bezel cutout, fit to all corners Use now the 4 x M5 screws and the waschers and fix the DDIN to the metal holder Das DDin Gerät im Ausschnitt zentrieren, und nach Belieben die gewünschte Position finden, anschließend mit den 4 x M5 Schrauben sowie großen Beilegscheiben das Gerät am Grundrahmen anschrauben

7. Open the cable and the grey tycon connector, just use a small screw flat driver at both sides and decal .Attention ! Remember red cable pin1 and left side connector side1 Use now our longer cable and connect also the red lined cable with the tycoon connector again, use a flat long gripper and press slowly Das vorhandene Funktionsleistenkabel mit dem grauen Tycon Stecker öffnen, dabei seitlich mit einem kleinen Schraubenzieher aufhebeln. Achtung! Seiten beachten, das neue längere Kabel einsetzen, dass PIN 1 nach links zeigt und mit einer Wasserpumpenzange zusammenpressen
8. Open the multifunction button bar with Torx TX8, connect the cable and close again Die Multifunktionsleiste nun mit einem Torx TX8 öffnen, das lange Kabel anschließen

9. Open Middle part and descrew the ashtray, better use now new tray BMW-Part Number 51167132 376 and save the old for return Die Mittelkonsole öffnen und den Aschenbecher entfernen, am besten neuen Halter BMW-Part Nummer 51167132 376 verwenden

10. Devide the ashtray in both two parts which are clipped 1 (red Arrow), line the middle part like red line 3 and 25 mm from buttom, cut it out with a dremel or sharp knife
Den Aschenbecher in beide Teile zerlegen, Clipse (rote Pfeile) öffnen Mit einem scharfen Messer oder Dremel gemäß roter Linie horizontal 3 und 25mm ausschneiden

11. cutout the second part of the ashtray like left side
Den Rahmenhalter des Aschenbechers wie rechts ausschneiden
12. use double-sided sealing and glue in the multi button bar Die Funktionsleiste nun mit doppelseitigem Montageband aufkleben

12. cut out the middle tunnel for the multi-button bar like red line, depth 20mm Mitteltunnel nach roter Linie für Multifunktionsleiste ausschneiden, Tiefe ca. 20mm -------------------------------Umbau für Multifunktionsleiste abgeschlossen------------------------------------

13. cut out the dashboard like red line with a dremellike tool, at top only 3mm high for ac-control Das Cockpit gemäß roter Linie mit einem Dremel ausschneiden, Ausschnitt oben nur 3mm Höhe für Klimabediengerät

14. finally place-in the double-din device, take care to the cables, push the bezel on grommets Schließlich das Doppel-DIN Gerät einschieben und mit 4 Schrauben befestigen, die Blende aufschieben
