MODEFABRIEK INTERNATIONAL FASHION TRADE EVENT Twice a year, fashion professionals throughout the Netherlands and around the world make their way to Amsterdam to get inspired for the new season.

AMSTERDAM FASHION TRADE SHOW Modefabriek is internationally known as, ‘The Amsterdam Fashion Trade Show’ and enjoys an excellent reputation as a creative, trendsetting and high-end event. Fashion discipline, innovation and creativity are in the dna of this organisation. Developments in the industry, market and media, as well as in the stock exchange, are followed closely and translated directly into practice. Modefabriek aims to inspire and surprise each and every season, with focus on attention to service and design, a distinctive and up-to-date segmentation and a broad programme. This means Modefabriek is so much more than fashion alone. Design, art, food, photography, media and music – you’ll find it all at Modefabriek.

IDENTITY MODEFABRIEK The very first edition of Modefabriek was hosted at the Amsterdam based Westergasfabriek in 1996, with 27 labels. Modefabriek introduced a new tradeshow concept, never seen before in Europe, using open and uniform stand structures, specially designed for Modefabriek. With a clear ‘Dutch Design’ signature and lots of attention to decoration, furnishing and stand construction. A stylish, atmospheric show was born. Since then, Modefabriek has expanded into the platform with more than 600 national and international labels from the middle and high segments of the fashion market. The show concept is always being renewed and adapted to the new needs of the times, every single season.

The media that are being used, consist both national and international trade publications but also consumer press. Moreover, 4.000 catalogues are distributed each edition.
