Why would I want to get a subscription and pay for Office every year? I’m used to buying it once.

Answer: Purchasing Office 365 is the most cost effective solution if you want all the Office applications on multiple devices and additional services. Plus, throughout the life of your subscription, you get ongoing service and product upgrades, such as shared benefits and additional OneDrive storage for household members. To look at it another way, Office 365 Personal gets you Office on your PC/Mac and a tablet for about $6/month. That’s about 2 coffees a month!

Answer: Yes! However, you will see the change in the number of installs and other subscription benefits immediately. We recommend that you wait until the end of your subscription to make the switch.
