If you have any old versions of any Office products installed, uninstall them. 2. PC: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012 Mac: Mac OS X 10.6 or later 3. This license allows you to purchase and download only once. Your Microsoft login will allow you to use Office 365 on up to 5 devices, so plan accordingly. 4. The software license is for 12 months. If you continue to be a UC student after the initial 12 months you’ll be allowed to renew or keep your account and continue using the software. If you leave UC or graduate your software license may expire and you will no longer be able to use the product.

By default, Microsoft Office installs the 32-bit version of Office even if your computer is running 64-bit editions of Windows. The 32-bit version of Office is the recommended option for most people, because it prevents potential compatibility issues with other 32-bit applications, specifically third-party add-ins that are available only for 32-bit operating systems.
