2_INSTALLING THE USB DRIVER Step 1: To enable communication between your phone and your Windows-computer, you have to install the USB-driver for the phone. Please download the driver at www.ruggeareurope.com and extract the archive in a folder of your choice on your computer. Install the driver with the program „InstallDriver.exe“. The program automatically selects the correct driver corresponding to the version of Microsoft Windows running on the computer. Step 2: Turn on the phone and connect it with your computer via a USB-cable. When the phone asks you to select a connection method, choose „COM-Port“ or similar, according to your phone. Step 3: To finish the installation, remove the USB-cable and restart your computer.

3_INSTALLING THE PROGRAM Step 1: Download the program „Phone Suite“ at www.ruggeareurope.com and extract the archive in a directory of your choice on your computer. The software can be run without any additional installation necessary. Step 2: Turn on the phone and connect it with your computer via a USB-cable. When the phone asks you to select a connection method, choose „COM-Port“ or similar, according to your phone.

Step 3: On your computer, change into the folder where you have extracted the archive and start the program „PhoneSuite.exe“. In the main window of the program the connection status of your phone is displayed. If this is shown as „Disconnected!“, go to the menu Settings on the right side of the main window and choose the correct Com-Port in the tab „General“. This is COM4 (USB Debug Driver) or COM5 (USB Modem Driver) by default on most systems. After choosing the Com-Port, close and restart the program.

Step 4: The connection status in the lower left corner should now show „Connected!“ and the programs asks whether to start syncing between the phone and your email-program. Synced contacts can be found in „Phonebook“, listed under the name of your email-program. If this is not the case, please close your emailprogram and the Phone Suite and repeat steps 2 and 3.

2_INSTALLATION DER USB-TREIBER Schritt 1: Um dem Telefon die Kommunikation mit Ihrem WindowsComputer zu ermöglichen, installieren Sie bitte die USB-Treiber. Dazu laden Sie den Treiber als ZIP-Archiv auf www.ruggeareurope.com herunter und entpacken das Archiv in ein beliebiges Verzeichnis auf Ihrem Computer. Starten Sie die Installation des Treibers über das Programm „InstallDriver.exe“. Das Installationsprogramm installiert automatisch die für Ihr System benötigte Variante des Treibers. Schritt 2: Schalten Sie das Telefon ein und stellen Sie eine USB-Verbindung zwischen Telefon und Computer her. Auf dem Display des Telefons erschein ein Menü zur Auswahl der Verbindungsmethode. Hier wählen Sie je nach Telefon die Option „COMAnschluss“ oder „COM-Port“. Schritt 3: Zum Abschließen der Installation entfernen Sie das USB-Kabel und starten Sie Ihren Computer neu.

3_INSTALLATION DES PROGRAMMS Schritt 1: Laden Sie das Programm „Phone Suite“ als ZIP-Archiv auf www.ruggear-europe.com herunter. Entpacken Sie das Archiv in ein beliebiges Verzeichnis auf Ihrem Computer. Die Software muss nicht speziell installiert werden.

Schritt 2: Schalten Sie das Telefon ein und stellen Sie anschließend eine USB-Verbindung zwischen Telefon und Computer her. Auf dem Display des Telefons erscheint ein Menü zur Auswahl der Verbindungsmethode. Hier wählen Sie je nach Telefon die Option „COM-Anschluss“ oder „COM-Port“. Schritt 3: Wechseln Sie in das Verzeichnis, in das Sie die Phone Suite entpackt haben und starten Sie das Programm „PhoneSuite.exe“. Im Programmfenster sehen Sie unten rechts den Verbindungszustand des Telefons. Ist dieser Zustand „Disconnected!“, wählen Sie im Menüpunkt „Settings“ auf der rechten Seite des Programmfensters im Tab „General“ Ihren Com-Port aus. Standardmäßig ist dies COM4 (USB Debug Driver) oder COM5 (USB Modem Driver). Beenden Sie das Programm und starten Sie es neu.

Schritt 4: Der Verbindungsstatus in der rechten unteren Ecke des Bildschirms zeigt nun „Connected!“. Das Programm fragt, ob Sie die Kontakte des Telefons mit Ihrem Mail-Programm abgleichen wollen. Abgeglichene Kontakte erscheinen im Menüpunkt „Phonebook“ unter dem Namen Ihres E-Mail-Programms. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, beenden Sie bitte Ihr E-Mail-Programm und die Phone Suite und wiederholen Sie die Schritte 2 und 3.
