WHAT IS ULTRASOUND? •
Acoustic vibrations that are obtained thru the vibration of plates . This vibration releases acoustic waves called Ultrasound waves.

Ultrasound waves penetrate tissue and meet resistance losing energy on the way. This resistance is called attenuation.
•
Higher the frequency of the wave, bigger the resistance or attenuation.
•
This attenuation means heat.

More vibrations ( higher frequency) means more resistance or attenuation and more heat.
