The coiling apparatus KARUSSELL saves time and cost when blowing-in cables in two directions or longer cable lengths. Instead of laboriously laying the cable in figures of eight or looping it the cable is simply coiled into the KARUSSELL using the blowing-in or pushing-in equipment. Rope blowing-in technique

Das Seil  wird direkt von der Seil-Speichertrommel  in das Schutzrohr  eingeblasen. Am Seilanfang befindet sich ein Durchblaskolben , der mittels Druckluft von einem Kompressor  vorgetrieben wird. Am Rohranfang dichtet ein Kabelkanalrorstopfen  mit seilicher Seilführung das Rohr ab. Der Spillkopf-Antrieb  der Seilhaspel wird erst für das Zurückziehen eingesetzt.

The rope  will be blown-in directly from the storage drum  into the duct . A blowing-in piston  at the beginning of the rope will be forced through the pipe by compressed air of a compressor . The pipe is sealed by a sealing plug  with rope-slit. The capstan drive  of the rope reel will be used for pulling the rope back to the starter manhole.

• Ein auf- und ab-vibrierendes Schneidblatt (VerlegeSchwert) durchtrennt den Boden. • In einem Arbeitsgang wird ein Schlitz ins Erdreich geschnitten und gleichzeitig Kabel oder/und Rohre auf der Schlitzsohle abgelegt. • Der Schlitz schließt sich nach der Verlegung fast von selbst. • Es erfolgt keine Bodenstrukturänderung • Es sind nur wenig Vorarbeiten erforderlich (z. B. kein Mutterbodenabtrag). • Eingepflügte Kabelschutzrohre liegen ebener (keine Wellenbildung), als offen verlegte und sorgen so für einen reibungsärmeren nachfolgenden Kabeleinzug.

• A vertical vibrating plough blade cuts the ground. • Only one working step: cutting the soil and placing the duct or cable to the ground of the cutted slit. • The slit will be closing nearly by itself. • No disturbances in the soil structure • Less preparation works; no top soil has to be taken away before ploughing. • The ploughing-in of the duct facilitates the following cable laying work, because of a better planarity of the ground level. Thus so-called mini bends of the duct are avoided and the pulling-in friction will be reduced to a minimum.
