The Swedish Armed Forces will organize the 2016 CISM Regional Military Shooting (Pistol) Championship The Swedish Delegation to CISM is honored to invite a mission, representing the Armed Forces of your country, to participate in 2016 CISM Regional Military Shooting (Pistol) Championship. This competition will be held in Boden, SWEDEN 22th to 26th August 2016. Due to the infrastructure the participation is limited to 12 guest nations. The Swedish CISM delegation is looking forward to your response in order to welcome you for a well-represented and successful competition. 2016 – CISM REGIONAL MILITARY SHOOTING (Pistol) CHAMPIONSHIP

2. Composition of a Mission: Due to organisational restrictions the size of mission has to comply with the following figures:  1 Chief of Mission  1 Coach  3 Competitors (woman)  3 Competitors (men)  1 Jurymember (Austria and Finland and) 3. Eligibility According to the CISM Regulations volume 2, Policy Manual, article 3.19, competitors must be military personnel on active duty within the armed forces of their respective country with an up to date military identity card. 4. Regulations Competitions will follow CISM regulations for shooting. 5. Conditions of Stay During their stay in SWEDEN the missions are the guests of the SWEDISH ARMED FORCES from 22 – 26 August 2016. Board and lodging are at the expense of the organizer. Special requirements and additional drinks are to be paid by the participants. Medical Support will be provided to cover first aid service. Further costs incurred for medical support are to be borne by the participants. The organiser is not responsible for:  hospitalisations,  surgical operations or special treatments,  repatriation in case of decease by illness or accident,  other expenses on account of illness/accident such as compensations, loss of income, etc.

6. Transportation: The costs of travel and arrangement to the point of arrival in LULEÅ, KALLAX AIRPORT, will be the responsibility of each participating mission as well as the costs of travel from the point of departure back home. The organizer is responsible and will provide local transportation. 7.

Uniforms:

Service uniform is required for the Prize Award Ceremony. Permission to wear uniform is granted. 8. Frontier – Police Regulations: For information regarding passports, visas and required inoculation certificates for entering SWEDEN, please contact the SWEDISH embassy in your country. 9. Jury for the competition The organizers invited also 2 jury members for the tournament. The delegates must have an ISSF A-or B-license for pistol and electronic scoring targets(EST). We should appreciate if the countries of Austria and Finland have the possibility to send one member each. Conditions of stay for the jury members are the same as for the teams. 13. Miscellaneous For the declaration of weapons, please contact the Customs Service http://www.tullverket.se/en/startpage There will not be held any gift exchange ceremony in this competition.

COMMITMENT BY THE CHIEF OF MISSION

1. A mission from a nation that does not confirm their participation by sending the final entry may be excluded from the championship, if their unplanned arrival poses serious problems to the organising country. 2. At respect of the statutes and traditions of CISM, any political or ethnic activity during an event of CISM, is expressly forbidden, particularly, the distribution of propaganda documents, photos, brochures, magazines, etc. Any offence will be severely penalised by the expulsion of the delegation 3. The athletes and other team members have to conform to the rules and dispositions of CISM. In case of lack of sporting spirit they will be submitted to trial by the authorities responsible for the organisation of the championship, and the result can be the disqualification of the athletes or teams in question.

I herewith declare to do my utmost to guide the mission I am responsible for in the spirit of mutual understanding and friendship through sport and to fully respect the official CISM rules. I also declare to promote and enforce the CISM spirit, a spirit that is represented by a friendly attitude towards the other missions, courtesy towards the organisers and, last but not least, fair play in the competition.
