International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation 2014 23 - 26 JUNE 2014 // AALBORG // DENMARK – bridging

replace, repair, restore, relieve clinical and engineering solutions in neurorehabilitation

Why Exhibit/Sponsor? Conference Topics

A Specialized Commercial Track

- Neurorehabilitation applications and solutions to replacing lost motor and/or sensory functions

Eir – Empowering Industry and Research - will as a co-organizer facilitate a commercially oriented track with emphasis on bringing cuttingedge innovative technologies and research in Neurorehabilitation from bench to bedside!

- Neurorehabilitation applications and solutions torestoreorrepairimpairedneurologicalfunctions - Techniques and methods in neurorehabilitation - Translational challenges in neurorehabilitation

Who Will Attend? This conference will bring together rehabilitation medicine specialists, engineers, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, neurophysiologists, and other professionals involved in neurorehabilitation research.

What is the Expected Number of Participants? We expect between 300-400 participants from the scientific community mainly from Europe, but also USA, Japan and Australia/New Zealand.

The track will encompass both industrial and societal perspectives on applying Neurorehabilitation technologies, inspiring case stories of bringing innovative research to a commercial product and discussions on how future progress can benefit from close collaboration between private and public partners. The track will, moreover, include a highly essential commercial fair – a Hot Spot for Neurorehabilitation technologies - where researchers, companies and clinicians are invited to present cutting edge research, novel technologies and state of the art solutions and products through poster presentations. Hereby, the Hot Spot serves as an inspiring forum where all conference participants can share ideas and identify overlap of interest and opportunities for collaboration.

Excellent Conference Facilities - in the Bustling Heart of the City The venue for the International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation will be Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre, idyllically situated in the centre of Aalborg and yet in the midst of the beautiful green spot of the city, the Kildeparken. Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre is one of Scandinavia’s largest and most flexible congress centers with 500,000 visiting guests and 1,000 events on a yearly basis. Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre is ideally situated in the largest park right in the heart of the city, just 10-minute drive from Aalborg Airport, but still in the city center, allowing for the most optimal networking setting to take place during the conference. Having undergone a major refurbishment in 2012, the congress center is equipped with the latest technology and all modern and handicap-friendly facilities required in order to make every event successful. F&B is supplied by “Papegøjehaven”, the centrer's excellent restaurant, which can cater for as many as 3,000 guests at the same time. The congress center provides 700 parking spaces, Wi-Fi, fax, cash machine, and information desks. There is an English pub in the basement with darts and skittles and, with the park on its doorstep, you can easily pop out for a walk and a chat, go jogging, or simply relax. The International Conference on NeuroRehabilitation 2014 will use the following conference halls and rooms in the congress center:
