he International Intradermal Cosmetics Expo 2016 (“IICE”) returns this year as a newly expanded event! Technicians of all skill levels will attend IICE for an array of high quality hands-on training classes and industry updates. IICE will offer a comprehensive threeday conference in an intimate setting on October 15 – 17. The American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics’ (AIIC’s) Scalp Pigmentation class will be held on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the convention: October 11 and 12th. The Microblading course will be held Thursday and Friday: the 13 and 14th. Master’s and Instructor’s Certification will take place following the conference on October 18 – 21st. On October 15th Sandi Hammons and other industry leaders will lecture on modern permanent makeup topics. After training with microblading masters from around the world, Hammons will present “Modern Makeup Tattoos™”, “The Changing Face of Permanent Cosmetics” and the “Economics and the Big Business of Microblading”. She will also introduce new artists and techniques that will esthetically and financially benefit your business. The lectures will be followed by hands-on training covering Modern Eyeliners, Modern Lip Color, 3D Areola Art, Dry Needling, Paramedical Scar Revision, Vitiligo Camouflaging, Dermal Rolling, Mucosal & Eyeliner Accents, Blush, Full Lip Color, Correctional Procedures and more! This seminar will provide you with cutting-edge information about the art and science of permanent cosmetics and paramedical procedures and will provide you with the most current and innovative techniques to increase your income and propel your business to new heights. When you attend IICE 2016, you will get a real sense and appreciation for the “art” of permanent makeup. While one artist will be demonstrating Microsurfing™ while using a new specialized tool, another technician may be performing fine line art using Nano Needles and Machine-blading. IICE is the only intradermal cosmetic conference of its kind that offers so many hands-on procedures. Its really about exposing yourself to many varying techniques and choosing the results you want to incorporate into your own permanent cosmetic palette.

An AIIC Instructor will teach you how to create fine lines and micro hairlines that look natural and enhance your client’s facial features. You will learn how to create beautiful hairline strokes with handtools. Lecture will cover consultation, color selection, eyebrow design, needle selection and dimensional colors. Prerequisites: Basic Training, Bloodborne Pathogens Certification and to have preformed at least 50 eyebrow procedures.

The Masters Certification provides you with industry recognized credentials that show you are an esthetic and technical leader in the field of permanent cosmetics. Candidates for the AIIC Masters Certification Exam are required to perform procedures in the practical portion of the board exam. The hands-on testing of your skill is unique in the industry and affords your customers confidence that you are truly qualified to perform procedures.
