Licon radiators have up to 90 % lower water volume than traditional radiators. Thanks to this you can save a significant amount of energy necessary to heat up heating water.
... how to heat up a room more quickly? A lower quantity of water means shorter heating time. Active air streams through the lamellas of the convector, improving the heating up speed. The response of radiators fitted with a fan is more flexible, faster and more precise!
... how to achieve heat comfort? Using natural air circulation or fan convectors. This way heat is evenly distributed all around the room and consistently from the floor to the ceiling.
Thanks to the technology of heat transfer and air circulation inside the radiator, nobody will burn themselves touching the outer shell of the radiator even with water of 80 °C flowing inside. The temperature of the convector shell will be max. 40 °C. This prevents children from burning themselves.
... what are the options of use in combination with heat pumps? Convectors are very efficient at low temperature gradients, which is exactly right for heat pumps. The innovative technology is suitable for use in low water temperature systems.

Licon OK • OK PLAN wall-mounted convectors
Traditional wall-mounted elements Treat yourselves to modern design and economical operation. Compared with ordinary panel radiators, wall mounted convectors offer, besides the design, a number of advantages: economical operation, higher output with smaller dimensions, faster provision of heat. Forget the myths! The fact that the surface – panel of the convector is not “hot” like a conventional radiator does not mean that it is not heating. On the contrary, it is more efficient and powerful as the heating is based on the principle of natural air flow. Just imagine – if you want heat, do you really need a radiator full of water that you need to heat up first? You will not burn yourself on our convectors! The surface temperature is max. 40 °C and the heat is transferred to the room, not to the wall :-) PLAN – a design version of the wall-mounted convector with an entirely flat front panel. The PLAN version comes made-to-measure and it is produced for all the available sizes of the standard OK element.

You can build exchanger compactly into materials that the interior is made of and in the places where you want to have them. Invisible heat for glazed facades Façade convectors are an ideal and efficient solution for designing of building complexes with large glazed frontages where the penetration of cold in the winter period can considerably affect the microclimate of the interior. Convector design for a wet environment We have extended the complete range of heating elements with versions that satisfy the conditions for use in a wet environment. Ideal for spaces with an indoor swimming pool in any type of building. They are also ideal for use in conservatories, for instance.
Attributes of durability and safety The design, materials and details of the products have been specially adapted for a wet (swimming pool) environment. Operation conditions and maintenance recommended by the manufacturer should be observed. It goes without saying that the products offer absolute operational safety, even though the radiators are equipped with electronic control.

How Licon convectors work
Heat is transferred to the room in a heat exchanger, called a register, which every Licon radiator is equipped with. The register consists of a copper pipe and aluminium lamellas bonded to it and are uniquely undulated, which affords better heat transfer into the room.

As the hot water passes through the exchanger, it heats up the pipe, which transfers the heat to the lamellas, which start to heat the surrounding air. Heated air naturally rises or the heating output can be increased by using a very silent fan (OC designation – Optimized Convection). Minimum noise level 22 dB and power input from 7 W. Selected types of convectors bearing the IOC code can be used both for heating and after-cooling. The new unique design provides high efficiency even at low temperature gradients. They heat in winter and cool in summer. The solution to use in combination with a heat pump. Energy savings and efficiency!
