SPONSORSHIP PROPOSAL The following is an overview of the Sponsorship opportunities available through the Gosnells Football Club along with the benefits your organisation will receive by aligning yourself with our club. The Gosnells Football Club has a policy of working with our sponsors where mutually beneficial relationships can be formed. I am pleased to report that our club had another successful season in 2013. Our club was promoted to C1 Division of the Western Australian Amateur Football League with our reserves and E Grade teams playing off in the finals. With the league side finishing sixth place, this consolidated our position in the C1 grade for 2014. 2

2013 SEASON Last year the club nominated a fourth team that competed in E Grade. By fielding another team it shows that the Gosnells Football Club is on track to deliver its commitment to provide the youth of the district the sport of Australian Rules Football and make a positive difference in the direction of young lives in the community. The club is fortunate to have some of the best facilities in the competition including a gymnasium for members. HISTORY The Gosnells Football Club was established in 1911. The club has won 16 League Premierships. The club competes in the C1 Division of the West Australian Amateur Football League. Gosnells Oval is home of the “Mighty Fighting Hawks”.

MISSION We unite our members in enriching the lives of all within the community through participation and fellowship in Australian Rules football. MEMBERSHIP The club has 3 senior teams and 1 colts team. The club had 312 members with 162 Registered Players pulling on a “Hawks” Guernsey in 2013.. Gosnells is a growth area with many young families moving into the district. Our target audience are in the surrounding suburbs of Huntingdale, Southern River, Canning Vale, Martin and Harrisdale. The club has links with the junior football councils of Gosnells and Huntingdale.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT The Gosnells Football Club could not function successfully without the support of our sponsors. It is an expensive exercise running a football club annually. Fees have risen considerably in recent years with ground and affiliation fees alone costing $25,000 per annum. Other costs include coaches salary, umpire fees, medical equipment, sports trainers, electricity and day to day running costs. It is clear that community support is required to assist us in providing a sporting outlet to people within the Gosnells district. Your support as sponsor greatly assists in helping us achieve this goal. 5

OPPORTUNITIES “WHY SPONSOR A CLUB?” Being a winter sport your organisation will have many opportunities between March and September to promote your business across 18 home and away games with four games each day. At home games at least 1000 people will attend per game while the council leases the ground during the year to groups who can attract over 3000 attendees. Softball, Soccer and American Gridirion teams also hire the oval and have large followings. There will be numerous social functions held at the club during the year where you can advertise and promote your business as well. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged and advertised as set out in the “Sponsorship Package for the 2014 Season”.

All sponsors are provided with exposure and networking opportunities to market their company to club members on Tuesday and Thursday training nights, home games and club functions, in consultation with the Gosnells Football Club. The packages provide connection to a successful sporting club with a proud history in the City of Gosnells and the surrounding areas.
