Launcher - User Instructions BALLS - Size 4 and 5 balls can be used on the launcher. Adjust the wing nut in the track up or down so that the serving wheels catch the middle of the ball. FEEDING BALLS - Place up to 5 balls behind the ball feeding disk. Do not place balls in front of the ball feeding disk or directly into the throwing wheels. To ensure consistency use the same brand of balls blown up to the same pressure. TRAJECTORY - Loosen the trajectory knob (large knob to the left of the control panel near the throwing wheels). Brace the machine with one hand and move the trajectory knob with the other. Move up to increase trajectory and down to decrease. TRANSPORTATION - There is a towing handle at the back of the launcher. When lifting the launcher always grab the handle and the front part of the frame for a two hand lift. POWER SWITCH – This is the Red Off/On button CHANGING SPEED - Turning clockwise from 1-10 increases the speed. In confined environments increase speed gently to ascertain the distance that balls are propelled. DELIVERY FREQUENCY - Slow setting serves balls every 10 seconds. Fast setting every 5 seconds. BATTERY CHARGING - Insert power supply to recharge. Typical battery life is 2 hours. STOPPING THE LAUNCHER - Place pressure on the foot pump to stop the ball feeding disk. WET WEATHER - Do not operate in wet weather. Damp balls may need to be dried before feeding into the launcher. CLEANING - Clean the wheels with a damp cloth.

Training Tips Progress from easy to more difficult skills and then to more complex drills. Focus first on successful repetitions. Use restrictions to force player development; right/left foot only, one touch only, two touch. Always define the drills objective before commencing. Have a dribbling course for players to go through when returning balls to the launcher. Players should reload the launcher rather than the coach. Ensure multiple player involvement with each ball served. Incorporate fitness and keep players moving. Do not practice headers for extended periods.
