Sheet Metal Press Applications For fast and accurate blank extractors, Festo provides a unique design to mount inside the die assembly in an "end out" direction as opposed to the more conventional"side out” direction, producing more consistent quality and less waste.

Progressive Die Applications In progressive die applications, blank sheet metal is moved through a series of die to produce a final product. Time saved in these two operations converts into increased production output and higher profits. Festo offers a sleek and compact gantry system which travels with the die, reducing both set-up time and hit-to-hit time during a die

change, providing all the benefits of similar servo electric designs, plus significant savings in system weight and operational costs. The system includes a Festo rodless cylinder, electronic controller for lateral positioning, an axis controlling vertical lift and lowering, and vacuum generators with suction cups that secure the part for the next sequential position.

Transport Parts Safely In Confined Work Spaces Festo offers a multi-functional vacuum lifting cylinder designed especially for confined work spaces. An oval piston, combined with a hollow piston rod and vacuum port on the end cap, create vacuum lifting.

Festo offers a choice of standard vacuum cup attachments that create a lifting package to transport metal and protect the work piece against rotation.
