There’s not time like the present and actually it’s the only time, right now it’s time to take imperfect action and bring your creation into the world. 5. Be Spontaneous & Explore Your Edge

When was the last time you did something for the first time? Are you a complete planner and controller? What would it look like to plan to be spontaneous? Sounds a little counterintuitive, but what if you took a day, a week vacation or an afternoon and didn’t plan anything. Instead, you asked your heart “what’s new for us today?” and followed the path step by step? Bring a little spontaneity and mystery back into your life. Judy Bennett - Everyone from Dr. Oz to Dr. Seuss had an opinion about what I should eat. What a confusing mess! So I thought I’d start from the basics, literally looking at peptide chains and phytosterols, and figure it out. Over the next few years, I read books. I listened to lectures. I joined associations. I earned advanced certifications in physical therapy and public health. I became board certified as a holistic health practitioner. And I figured out some fundamental truths. I healed my own body and helped several of my friends. My doctor uses my lab reports in her lectures as an example of what perfect blood work looks like. I haven’t caught a cold in over 15 years. I don’t have to miss out on trips, parties, or significant events because I’m too tired, too sick, or can’t fit into my party pants. I have the energy to successfully juggle Wicked Smart Wellness; my physical therapy practice; a thriving modeling and acting career; author appearances for the two books I’ve written; prepare for and appear in contemporary, tap, and burlesque dance performances; and cater to my fabulous, though demanding, family. And guess what? I eat dessert. I don’t go hungry. I enjoy a cocktail or three. I wear makeup and eat steak. In fact, I indulge all my vices on a regular basis and I see no reason to give them up. People are constantly asking me, “How do you do it?” So I developed Wicked Smart to answer that very question.

6 Reasons that “get healthy” New Year’s resolutions are doomed to fail How are those resolutions working out for ya? It has been said that New Year’s resolutions last until around January 12th, on average. How disappointing! I mean, you invest in a great pair of running shoes or a juicer or whatever, and then before you can say Martin Luther King Junior Day, you’re back to your old tricks. Don’t believe me? Go to any random garage sale this spring and see how much exercise equipment they have for sale. Why do our best intentions end up this way? Well, basically, because the whole premise is flawed. The time for making major lifestyle changes isn’t in the dead of winter. Look at nature. Animals are hibernating, trees are dormant, daylight is in short supply, and Kate Spade won’t release her spring line for a couple of months yet. Winter is a time for hunkering down. Conserving our resources. Absorbing all the education you can about how to move your health and your fine physique forward when the time is right. So, speaking of education, here are 6 reasons that “get healthy” New Year’s resolutions are doomed to fail.

Resolution #1: Start a diet. You may be tempted to kick-start your post-holiday weight loss with a diet. South Beach, Hollywood Juice Fast, Take Shape For Life, Paleo, Atkins…the list goes on and on. You will lose weight on these plans. But somewhere around 95% of dieters gain the weight back within 1 to 2 years. Why it will fail: Because most plans have you focused on eating primarily one thing, whether it’s meat, shakes, bars, cabbage soup, or whatever. Your body will look to restore balance, so you’ll start craving foods with different nutrients than the ones you’re giving it. You’ll be “good” for as long as you can, but then it’ll be somebody’s birthday or you’ll go on vacation and Blammo! You fall off the wagon in a big way.

What to do instead: eat a variety of whole, unprocessed, organic fruits and vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts, lean meats, and fish. When you eat good quality fuel, you’ll feel satisfied on less of it. Eat as much of it as you need to feel full. Being hungry or too narrow in your food choices backfires. Your body doesn’t know the difference between a diet and a famine, so it hangs on tight to your fat stores in case the famine goes on for a while. Resolution #2: Eat more salads. When you think about eating better, you might be tempted to eat lighter foods. But guess what? Adapting your menu to the winter season can clear up a lot of common health issues and help you lose weight. Why it will fail: Consider this: when winter arrives, you change your wardrobe, your tires, your activities, your skin care, and your clocks, but if you continue to eat like it’s summer, you throw your metabolism out of whack. Remember when I mentioned how nature is hunkering down and getting on board with the winter season? What to do instead: Winter is a time for heavier, denser food, like meat, root vegetables, apples, hearty soups, and oatmeal. Save the mango smoothies and garden salads for summer. But don’t get me wrong – by heavy food, I don’t mean pound cake. Resolution #3: Exercise 5 days a week. Now that the holiday madness is over, you can catch up on some much-needed sleep. But oh, wait…you made a resolution to go to the gym 5 times a week. In a perfect world, you could get sufficient shut-eye AND Zumba, but for most of us, there’s not enough time for both. Why it will fail: Just a few days of poor sleep can put you in a prediabetic state, which means you’re less able to assimilate carbs and they get stored as fat. Not only that, but when you’re tired, you crave the very carbs you’re unable to assimilate. What to do instead: My advice? Go for the sleep. Prioritize 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, and you’ll end up with less fat to Zumba away. Resolution #4: Cut out fat. The idea that fat is bad for you started millions of dollars ago in a mindset far, far away. Less fat on your plate = less fat on your frame, right? Why it will fail: When fat is removed from a food product, chemicals and sugar are added in to restore the flavor and/or texture. Look at lowfat and nonfat yogurt labels if you don’t believe me. Yoplait 99% fat free yogurt has more sugar than 2 chocolate frosted donuts. As far as chemicals go, your body doesn’t recognize them as food so they are treated like any other foreign invader; they are embedded in pockets of fat to protect them from getting into your bloodstream. The more chemicals you eat, the more fat you store. What to do instead: Don’t fear the fat. Fat is an essential macronutrient that makes up your cell walls, helps nerve conduction, produces hormones, and lots of other important things. Good fats from olives, avocadoes, coconut, nuts, seeds, and salmon never hurt anybody.

Okay, I’m with you on the fast food, but processed food isn’t much better. “Natural” and “prepackaged” is an oxymoron. Here’s an example. Tillamook Mud Slide ice cream with “all-natural flavors” contains the following ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose (made from wood pulp), polysorbate 80 (from a test tube), and carageenan (extracted from seaweed). Tillamook added these bizarre things to their product to improve the texture and shelf life of what is already a delicious food item. In other words, to make you want it. Crave it. Buy it all the time. Why it will fail: Food companies aren’t here to help you feel good or be healthy. They’re here to make money. They carefully engineer their products to be delicious and keep you coming back for more. They even add chemicals to their products that turn off your hormones that tell you if you’re hungry or full. So if you eat twice as much of a “natural” manufactured food, are you really making a healthier choice? What to do instead: Choose whole, natural, single-ingredient foods and package them yourself. Keep a little plastic bag of nuts or a Lara bar in your desk drawer. Cut up some veggies on Sunday afternoon and enjoy a salad bar in your fridge all week. Toss some fruit, a hard boiled egg, a sleeve of rice crackers, and some string cheese into your lunch bag. A good rule of thumb is if you’re grandma wouldn’t know what the food or ingredient is, put it back on the shelf. Resolution #6: Eat better so that I’ll be happier. I won’t deny that eating in a way that gets your blood chemistry sorted out and helps you achieve a healthy weight will make you feel like a million bucks. But if you also rely on food to soothe a broken heart, celebrate a victory, pep you up, or calm you down, you’re going about it all wrong. Why it will fail: The food you eat is known as secondary food. Primary food is the stuff that feeds your soul, like healthy relationships, physical activity, spiritual connection, and a fulfilling career. No amount of quinoa is going to heal your marriage. Brazil nuts don’t give a crap if you’re late with your credit card payment. Some people go to the opposite extreme and reach for the chocolate or booze, but that can add to your problems rather than help. It’s just not food’s job to make you happy. Period. What to do instead: By all means, nurture yourself, but don’t do it with food. Take a walk, soak in the tub, call a friend, write an angry letter and then tear it up. Write down 3 to 5 things that bring you joy that aren’t food, and keep it handy for when the **** hits the fan. Get professional help if the issue is outside your means to handle it on your own. Sorry to have blasted a hole in your shiny new resolutions. But it’s only because I have your best interests at heart. Get out a fresh piece of paper and start a new list based on the suggestions I gave you. You can call them New You Resolutions!

Bliss is your Natural State of Being – your “Birthright” -Ask yourself “What is Bliss?” – How you answer this question gives a big clue as to how you see life and what your “deserve-level” is.

Negative Subconscious programming from Childhood sends False messages- blocking Bliss – From 0-7 years old you were fed information directly into your sub-conscious mind, unfiltered. These messages formed the basis from where you live your life – even today, as an adult. Intimacy, at its highest expression, is God/Goddesshood in Action – The Sexual act and space is the place you are able to best access the power of co-creation with all that is. Sexual union ought to be approached with the utmost respect for the power it wields. With common intention, two people can create miracles through their sexual act, including, but not limited to children.

9- The World is in the Midst of a Paradigm Shift – Begin looking at all areas of life as “in the process of shifting.” What society once collectively agreed on as true is no longer the case. To varying degrees, all “beliefs” are up for grabs. If you don’t resonate with something, even diseases and death, question it. Be open to discovering what is on the cutting edge of reality. 10- Life is Poetry – When you can begin to see life less from a linear, logical perspective, and more from a poetic, artistic one, miraculous insights and magical happenings will be yours. 95 percent or more of life is essentially “unknown” or “unknowable” through our logical senses. Even the scientist admit that only about five percent of the universe is matter… by switching to perceiving life from a poetic, artistic perspective we begin to access the “unknown” – that which hides in the unconscious spheres…where life slumbers, but mysteries live. Living a happy and satisfying life in accordance with one’s beliefs 1) Figure out as many things as possible that bring you joy, and spend as much of your time as

possible doing them. Right now, sit down and brainstorm ten things that bring you joy! In the next week, see how many of them you can incorporate into your life on a regular basis. 2) Live in a place that feels like “home” to you. Your environment has a huge impact on your sense of “rightness” or “wrongness” about the world, and your own life. You can make choices about this on multiple levels: What country and/or region do you prefer? Do you feel most comfortable in an urban, rural, or suburban setting? What about the kind of dwelling you prefer? Do you like to live alone? With family? A partner? Friends? Pets? Get as close as possible to your ideal situation, as soon as possible, because this has profound impacts on how you experience life. 3) Pay close attention to how you earn your income. If you have a dream career that you are not yet living, pursue it! You don’t have to quit your day job, but make a plan and work consistently toward your dream. In the meantime, brainstorm five benefits of your current work situation, so that you can appreciate what you have on a day-by-day basis, while working toward your dream situation. (Day-byday happiness is essential!) 4) Get in touch with your feelings and needs on a regular basis. I highly recommend Marshall Rosenberg’s classic book, “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life” (and/or any of his videos, many of which you can find online) to learn a very empowering methodology for recognizing your own and others’ needs without judgment, as well as effective, win-win techniques for actually getting those needs met.

These are essential parts of our wellbeing as humans! If you are partnered, make sure to set aside plenty of time in your relationship for these physical connections. If you are unpartnered—or polyamorous/polysensual—there are cuddle parties and heart-centered sexual events in many parts of the country. There are also freeform ecstatic dance and contact improvisation practices in many parts of the country. All of these events can be deeply nourishing. If these kinds of events don’t exist in your area, you can start your own with your friends! (I recommend Dave Wheitner’s book “The Snuggle Party Guidebook” and its accompanying website, www.snuggleparty.org) As for sexuality, it’s great either with a partner or on your own… and either way, the more you do it, the more joyful you are likely to feel! 6) Live your principles. For example, if you believe in living lightly on the earth, reduce/reuse/recycle as much as you can. Travel by bike or transit whenever you can. If you care about animals, consider moving toward a vegetarian or vegan diet. If you have causes you are passionate about, get out and volunteer to help them. The more you live your beliefs on a day-to-day basis, the more empowered you will feel about the state of the world and your place in it. This sort of engagement can be deeply joyful and satisfying, as well. 7) Make sure you spend time and energy expressing yourself! Set up a listening/empathy exchange time with a friend. Write in your journal or work on a blog or book. Spend time working on art projects or dance. Your thoughts, feelings, and energy—whether painful or joyful—need to move outward from you and into the world, so that they don’t get stuck inside you and lead to depression. (And, others benefit from receiving them!) 8) Take good care of your body. Spend time outdoors! Spend time moving your body, in whatever ways feel good to you. Sleep well. Eat well. Drink plenty of water. All of things help to bring a joyful equilibrium to both your body and your emotions. 9) At the same time… banish the word “should” from your vocabulary! Moralistic judgments and shame can undermine our happiness in a big way… and they can sneak into our lives often if we’re not careful. Whenever you hear the word “should” in your mind (or even coming out of your mouth!) consider replacing it with the word “could.” Or, ask yourself curiously what need you are trying to meet by the “shoulding.” In almost every case, there is a gentler and more joyful way of meeting that need.

TIPS FOR LETTING GO OF FEAR AND LIVING THE LIFE OF YOUR DREAMS 1. Call yourself on it. Recognize whenever you are engaged in fear, fear of your worthiness, fear of your divinity, fear of living the life of your dreams. Just call it out (ex: “Oh, lookie, how cute am I? I’m in fear. Time to stop that ish…”) 2. Tap Cortices as you say, “I am a divine being here for a divine purpose. I now allow myself to live the life of my dreams.” Anytime you catch yourself thinking/speaking fearful thoughts tap and say your mantra. 3. Meditate daily. Fifteen to 20 minutes is all you need, but you need it daily to support you in allowing your dreams to continue to manifest, without your fear interference. Spend three to five minutes after visualizing a scene that excites you, something you would love to have occur in your life. 4. Receive focused Soul Alignment sessions on this topic so as to release these old fears. There are often many, many layers (from this life and previous ones) that are contributing to the sabotage and fear. Be gentle with yourself and work with a practitioner that you resonate strongly with and trust. Nothing but the best, for the best — remember that. 5. Allow yourself to find where in your body this fear is and work with the fear, using your breath to support it in being released. Use this process for releasing stuck emotions. 6. Be super loving to yourself. Eat your favorite, high-vibrating foods, wear the clothes that make you feel the most gorgeous and only spend time with people who support and love you. Remembering our

10 Tips for Happiness 1. Be Curious! Curiosity has become my favorite quality. When we are curious about things we are instantly inspired to ask questions and to learn more, to dive deeper. Having curiosity leads to being amazed, and being amazed leases to a sense of awe and where there is awe there is joy. 2. Let yourself enjoy everything slightly more than you usually do. I suggest imagining you have a knob and you can turn this knob down and make everything blurry and out of focus to make sure it’s working and then you can turn it up, everything becomes brighter, clearer and more enjoyable. When you think about what you want make sure you can imagine what it feels like. You can think in your head all you want about how you want to be successful or whatever it may be, but the key is to begin to allow yourself to feel what it would feel like to be successful. You have to know what it feels like and if you can really bring that feeling into the forefront of your being and you move through life letting that feeling guide you, your life will begin to match up with how you feel. The trick is you can’t pretend to feel that way; you actually have to feel it, so start where you can and work your way up.

4. When you start a self improvement goal for yourself, don’t even consider the fact that you can fail. Know that you have started and you are on an upward journey. If there is a setback, know that it’s part of the journey and you are still further along than when you started. Set backs are a part of building your strength and determination. Also, we just need a little reminder every now and then way we made the goal in the first place. 5. Be weird- This one is important. Be goofy, silly, playful and fun. Our inner child is always waiting for an invitation to play and if you let yourself play, you are bound to be happy. The cool thing is that you can be playing all the time; everything can be fun or seen as a game. I often just ask myself “how can I be having more fun right now?” generally the question is enough to allow me to enjoy what I am doing a little bit more, or my fabulous conscious mind comes up with lots of answers, as that’s what it is good at. 6. Set some time aside to clear your mind and just let your body move as it wishes. Let your conscious mind take a back seat, be an observer, let go of any forms you may have learned from yoga, or exercise classes and just see what it is your body wants to do. Let go of judgments, shoulds or ideas of good and bad and just move. Your body is wise, and it knows what it wants. I am always quite interested in what it is my body ends up wanting to do, and I always feel stretched in all the perfect places. It allows an amazing feeling of freedom and ease. This also fits well with being weird. 7. If you are tired of doing the same thing all of the time or tired of your patterns, do something different. It sounds simple, and it is, but why do we make it so hard? Good question and we all have our unique answers, but maybe it can really be that simple. When you are in your routine, or about to take part in that same old habit and you want something to change or be different, start doing something different. This is another great time to be weird. Maybe just start jumping up and down, that’s different and you will definitely feel different after doing it, maybe yell “no” or do EFT (google it if you are unfamiliar). When you interrupt the program new neuropath ways begin to form, which crates change in your brain chemistry and allows you the freedom to create a new way of being! 8. Start asking yourself questions and then stop and listen, see what happens. It may take practice, but after awhile an answer will arise. You know a lot more than you think you do. Sometimes we have the answers to our questions we just don’t think to ask.

9. Take time to let your imagination run wild. I suggest taking 10 minutes every day to relax and imagine yourself in a special, relaxing, magical place. Just enjoy being there and then start to explore. Let your curiosity lead you. This is a way your subconscious can communicate easily with you. The subconscious communicates through images and feelings. So just play and explore and ask questions and see what happens. You may end up with many insights. 10. As often as you can, let go of judgments about right or wrong, good or bad, could or should and just be. Just be you, as you are, just the way you are and know that you are a part of this world, you belong here and are just as valuable and deserving of love, acceptance, and support as any other living being on this planet.

1. Have frequent & ever-deepening conversations with yourself. Probably the most crucial part of maintaining yourself amidst your journey through life is to be constantly in conversation with yourself. This doesn’t mean over-analyzing every step, but striving to be self-aware. Often what can limit your ability to achieve personal goals is a lack of honesty with yourself. It’s perfectly normal to not really know “who you are,” but that is the reward of the self-discovery. You won’t have an absolute definition of yourself to be articulated in common language, but merely the guides for your future actions. We create most of our own context subconsciously, but striving to know what you want is key in obtaining it. 2. Focus on your strengths and let them overshadow your weaknesses. Too often people don’t really know what they’re good at, and they don’t expect greatness from themselves. This is not to say you should neglect your weaknesses, but confidence in your strengths will make your weaknesses less threatening. This takes work, but yields great reward. If you don’t know what you’re good at, start by figuring out what you like. What would you do with your life if money were no object? 3. Always look for the next step to take to further your growth. Complacency is constantly battling your goals, so you need to be always looking ahead to the next step that will improve yourself. No matter how big or small the step is, as long as you’re moving forward you can maintain the momentum you need to make big moves. There are infinite situations that can hold us back or keep us stuck in the same position, but strengthening ourselves in any way possible empowers us to avoid the quicksand of time. 4. Create a checklist of problems to solve. Whether mental or physical, creating a checklist of things you’d like to take care of can give your growth direction. We are more aware of our faults & self-sabotaging habits than we’d like to admit; usually in denial of the changes we know we need to make, just out of fear of change itself. This can be daunting if you think of many detrimental habits, but the key is taking everything one at a time, as you are capable of crossing them off. You must start somewhere. Whether it’s drinking less alcohol or being smarter with money, little improvements will relieve stress and let you focus on what’s important: your growth. As you improve on your negative habits you realize the silliness of keeping them around.

The imagination determines the extent of your existence. It is a powerful tool that can make a dreamer defy a “realist.” You owe it to yourself to dream big and test the boundaries. You owe it to yourself to believe you can achieve those big dreams, because you are ready to put in the work to earn it. If you envision the reward you desire & work back from there, you can walk through the unknown as if you’ve been there before. Draw your own map, create your own paths, and trust the only necessary fuel is a confidence in your abilities & a fearlessness of temporary failures. 6. Figure out who is important in your life. This can be tough, as we don’t choose our families and can’t always choose our peers. It is incredibly important however, to have people that you trust deeply. You need to have at least one person that you can be completely honest with, otherwise those feelings & thoughts you keep bottled up for fear of judgment, will eat away at your soul. Trust is key in building a network of support. The key in trust is symbiotic relationships. Often trust is lost amongst people who become parasitic or even predatory on the vulnerabilities of others. We all know someone that’s betrayed our trust, but to assume that everyone is out to take advantage of you, only makes the damage from other betrayals more viscous. Sometimes it takes trusting a person before they trust you to establish the grounds for a healthy relationship. It’s good to be cautious, but at a certain point you must believe that no other person has the power to hurt you, even if trust is betrayed. You need to exercise patience with these people you want in your life, as everyone comes from unique contexts, and you must appreciate the mere crossing of paths. 7. Romanticize life. Life is as beautiful as you decide. Events, people, places, experiences, are as special as you make them. It’s easy to get in the routine of day-to-day life, but you mustn’t forget a rose’s aroma. Gratitude & appreciation begets positivity. All the love you have exists within yourself; it is up to you to activate that love in the people, places & ideas you experience. No one has all the answers, but if you trust your heart, you cannot feel guilty for lack of engagement with this funny trip we call life. No matter which faith you subscribe to, if at all, the clear common intangible thread between all life is love. Seek the next adventure to bring out those butterflies in your stomach. Put yourself in a situation to laugh ‘til your ribs hurt. Be happy because you can. If you don’t know how to love yourself, it makes impossible to see how someone else can love you. You deserve love, and it starts from within.

A Lead Generation System That Works I recently had a drink with somebody that I had met few years ago, when I started my business, but whom I didn’t get the opportunity to see for a couple of years. He was one of the first subscribers in my newsletter, so even if we hadn’t seen each other for a while, he was reading the newsletter every week and kept informed of what was happening in my business. One of his comments was “Wow, I can’t believe how much you have grown your business! I remember when you started, just moving from France, and you didn’t know anybody here. How did you get to this point? You definitely can’t do all of this on your own, so how many people work for you now? What is your secret?” I answered that I found my result a normal growth. You know, you work hard, you learn from others, you implement the techniques and strategies that you have learned, and if you do it correctly, the normal result is to grow. Simple isn’t it? But when I got back home, I thought about it. What did I do for the past years to grow my business to multiple 6 figures. I must have done something! Here are the steps I used to grow my business: #1- I spent lot of time learning from others, reading books or attending seminars. But reading a book or attending a seminar is not enough. Most people close a book or leave a seminar very motivated – “Wow, great techniques!” – but the next day they return to their routine and never implement those techniques in their business. I personally implement at least one of the techniques each time. #2 – I learned how to delegate, and have all of my administrative tasks done by my virtual assistant, while I have more time to work on my marketing plan, work with clients and keep what is productive in my business.

I do it once and put all of my business on automatic pilot. This, by the way, gives me more free time, to either work on a new project or just take a vacation. #4 – I make technology work for me. I still remember the time when I was sending my newsletter manually, 50 emails at a time, directly from Outlook, taking an hour to do it every Monday morning. Now, thanks to my auto-reponder, in just one click, I send the newsletter to my 10000 subscribers. Or when I answered manually each time somebody signed up for an event, then sent a reminder the day before the event. Now the auto-responder is doing it for me. #5 – I have a lead generation system that works. When I work with clients who are complaining that their business is not giving the results they are expecting, even after a couple of years, or that their business doesn’t get enough leads, I ask them what lead generation techniques they are using. Most answer that they usually send e-mails, sometime have a newsletter, go to networking (but don’t followup effectively) and stop there. Well, they use 3 or 4 lead generation techniques, but if you are using 10 or 15 lead generation techniques, as I do, you definitely get more chances to turn your leads into clients. So what is my lead generation system? 1. Over the past ten years, I have exchanged links with other entrepreneurs or websites that have the same target market, but are not my competitors. So when people visit their websites, they see my link and come to check my website. 2. I have a mailing list box on each page of all of my websites. I have different websites. Since I never know when a visitor will decide to sign-up for the newsletter or my free ebook or free videos, I make sure that I don’t miss any opportunity, which is the reason why I have a mailing box on each page. 3. I offer a free report or a free mini e-course. Having a mailing list box on my website is one thing, but to make sure people will actually sign up, I have to offer them something that will interest them, something that will inform them and help them to solve one of their problems. I offer a free ebook, "15 ways to instantly skyrocket your networking results". This is free info for them, but at the same time it is a way for me to show them what I do, how I can help them, and how to get more clients with networking. People usually don’t buy from people they don’t know or trust, so showing a part of your product or service will help them to get to know and trust you. 4. I send a weekly newsletter. People sign up first to get the free ebook. After that, it is my job to tell them more about my business, and share resources, marketing and networking information in order to build a relationship with them. Statistics show that when people don’t buy immediately, they will buy in the next 12 months. So I need to make sure that I am always in the top of their mind, so when they are ready to buy, they will buy from me. 5. I use an auto-responder to automate my website. I use an auto-responder when people sign-up for the newsletter or for an event. I set up a series of information messages about my products or services and the benefit of using them. I use them to send audio postcards, articles or videos to offer special reports for free, and/or to thank my clients for their purchases. Any message will remind them about my services and, more importantly, remind them to come back and buy again. This series of follow-up messages reinforces my relationship with my clients.

I use the software to automate my follow-up system, with people who either attended seminars or webinars or bought my book, or programs. The first time, I set up the different follow-up messages I want to send to people, then each time I have a new client, I just enter his or her name, and the software will remind me what to do and when to do it. I don’t even have to think about it. As I mentioned earlier, I do the work once and put everything on automatic pilot. 7. I send “Thank You” notes to my clients after they bought my book, program or CD, and after a month, I send them a special offer on their next purchase. I keep the relationship going. In this age of technology, sending a handwritten “Thank You” note makes you stand out from the crowd. You want to impress your clients or contacts and want them to remember you. 8. I ask my clients for testimonials -Testimonials from satisfied customers are typically the best way to promote your business, and it doesn’t cost you a thing. Stop selling and let your clients do it for you. A testimonial means 50 to 70% of a sale done for you. It shows your credibility and the results you can bring to your clients 9. I write one article a month and post it on about 50 to 60 directories of articles. Writing articles is actually one of the best ways that I found to get free exposure. Each article is a way to share my expertise with people, and again, to give a sample of what I do and how I can help them. 10. I publish a press release on various websites, each time I have a new product or event. As with the articles, it is a way to get free exposure and inform people, and the press, of what is new in my business. 11. I organize events and promote them on about 10 websites. This is another way to get free exposure, so even if people can’t come to the event, if they are interested in learning about it, they check the website, and sign up the newsletter, plus each attendee is a new lead. 12. I do public speaking. This is not my favorite, but in my marketing plan, I scheduled a public engagement every other month, so another organization will promote my book or programs to their newsletters and subscribers. This is another way to get free exposure, and I meet new people during the event. 13. I offer free strategy session, I offer a 30-minute free session for people who want to start a business or need to refocus their business, so we can see the strategies their need to implement in their business to grow much faster. Again, people don’t buy from people they don’t know, so offering a free session breaks the fear. They can share their project with me. I inform them of all the steps. They see how I can help them, and doing so, I start building a relationship. As a result, 50% become clients after this session. 14. I have an Affiliate Program so other people can sell my programs. It is not because you are a solo entrepreneur or a solo professional, that you have to do everything on your own. So having an affiliate program is the easiest and fastest way to increase sales and greatly increase your profits. It is like having plenty of salespeople working for you, FOR FREE. The more affiliates you have, the more access you have to thousands of people, who will see your products or services on somebody else’s website or newsletter. You are not the only one to promote your products now, you have a sales force. Your affiliates promote your products or services for free and you don’t pay them until they generate a sale for you. When they make a sale, you will be more than happy to pay them a commission, since you would probably never have had this client otherwise.

I do numbers of partnerships with companies or entrepreneurs who have the same target market but are not my competitors. Would you rather meet a thousand people, one at a time, or meet a few people who will each introduce you to a thousand? Most people see networking events as a place to get contacts one at a time or make one sale at a time. My goal when I attend a networking event is to meet potential partners, so we could cross-promote each other on our respective websites and newsletters, organize seminars or webinars together, do mailing campaigns together, etc. The benefit of it is that you have exposure to their contacts while they have exposure to your contacts. That is a win/win situation. 16. Last, but not least, I have a 7-step follow-up system that works. Statistics show that we need to hear or see a message at least 7 times in order to notice it. So if you are part of those people who follow up only two or three times, you are losing opportunities to turn prospects into clients. That is why it is important not only to have a follow-up system, but to have at least a 7-step follow-up system in place. As you can see, using systems in your business is the best way to grow easily and effortlessly. And most of the strategies that I just shared with you don’t even cost you money. All of these strategies work very well if you are starting your business, or if you need to refocus your business to get the result you are expecting after few years. And when you are an established business, that is a way to keep growing. Those strategies are not only working for me, but also to all of my clients who implement them.
