F LORIDA SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION

Dear Friends and Colleagues, On behalf of the Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA), I want to welcome you to the 2016 Executive Leadership Conference (ELC) in beautiful Naples, Florida. The FSA was established in 1893 to support the 67 sheriffs in our state and the men and women who serve them. Today we are one of the largest and most successful organizations of our kind in the nation. One of the most visible aspects of the services we provide the sheriffs and their staff is the conferences we hold throughout the year. The ELC was established to meet the professional development needs of staff working in the areas of administration, human resources, finance, corrections and law enforcement. To ensure the training we provide is of the highest quality, we rely on planning committees made up of subject matter experts working in sheriff’s offices and are very grateful for their service. In addition to the great training you will receive, there will be a trade show where you will be able to meet with representatives from various industries that support the work you do. I hope that you will find time to visit the trade show and talk with these fine folks. Along this same line, I want to thank our many corporate sponsors for their financial contribution to this and other programs throughout the year. Because of their continued support, our programs exceed expectation year after year. In closing, I want to thank Sheriff Kevin Rambosk and the staff at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office for their warm hospitality and agreeing to be our host this year. I hope you find the time to tour the area while you are here. Please enjoy your time with us and if you need anything just let me or a member of the FSA staff know. Sincerely, Steve Casey Executive Director Florida Sheriffs Association Protecting, Leading & Uniting Since 1893
