EVENT TIMING The event will be timed using TDL services electronic timing systems. It is compulsory for all riders to wear their timing chip, failure to do so will result in you not receiving a time. You will be required to fix a sticker to your seat post, which contains your timing chip. You will also be required to fix a number to the front of your bike with the cables ties provide. IMPORTANT - riders MUST cross the timing mats at Ruthin (Mawr) and Llansannan (Canol and Mawr) in order to record a result. FEEDSTATIONS Mawr (M), Canol (C) and Bach (B) routes. There will be a feedstation at Old Colwyn (B,C &M), Ruthin (M Only), Llansannan (C&M) and the Finish Line. There will also be an unmanned drinks station at Llanrwst (B,C &M)

HIGH 5 Storm the Orme Challenge The Storm the Orme or Gwibdaith y Gogarth as it’s known locally is a timed time trial circumnavigating the stunning Great Orme in Llandudno, giving you the opportunity to compete against the clock and your fellow riders. IMPORTANT – there is a steep descent on the far side of the Storm the Orme challenge. You must exercise caution in this area and follow the warning signs and instructions given by marshals at ALL times. Please ensure you remain aware and avoid cutting corners which could result in you clipping the kerb.

After this time they will be directed on to the Canol Route. Similarly, Canol riders must arive at the 25-mile point (Canol/Bach split), before 11:15am.
