Human Concerns TAKE A STAND FOR LIFE 40 Days for Life typically occurs two times each year: once during the spring normally in Lent and once in the fall leading into Advent. The effort unites multiple cities around the globe for the purpose of spreading awareness of God’s gift of life. Recognizing that “with God, all things are possible,” several cities within our Diocesan community join with hundreds of other cities for this global 40 Days for Life each year. This effort represents one of the largest internationally coordinated pro-life mobilizations in history. 40 Days for Life is a peaceful, prayerful – and proven effective – pro-life campaign that features three main components:  PRAYER & FASTING: Join together with other believers for 40 days of fervent prayer and fasting for an end to abortion.
