Your schedule Please respect the hours of arrival and departure for the year. The staff is free to leave 5 minutes after the closing time except in case of an emergency call from the parents. The parents have to accompany and pick up their child from the locker room. (Morning arrival time is between 7h30- 8h45. Conditions and regulations Official and Cantonal holidays c’Hiboulette has its official holidays and vacation periods:

Une feuille séparée vous sera présentée avec les dates sur l’année courante. Terms of inscription The minimum enrolment is two times a week, for example::

• 2 afternoons or



• 1 mornings and a half-day a week etc.

All documents (with c’Hiboulette’s conditions, discharges and authorisations form signed) are to be brought or sent by post at the time of enrolment. We will send you a written confirmation along with the bill for the enrolment fee. The sum of CHF 395 is paid with the enrolment which accounts for the registration fee, snacks, material and various supplies. This non-refundable amount remains the same, regardless of the month the child starts at c’Hiboulette. A written confirmation will be sent at the same time as this first invoice. The enrolment will be considered accepted upon receipt of payment. Fees The monthly payment is billed in the beginning of the month and is calculated in the following manner: The option that you have chosen is on a weekly basis. To calculate the price of your option on a monthly basis we multiply the weekly rate by 4.25. Example: One afternoon’s attendance is CHF 53. If your child comes 3 afternoons a week, this totals CHF 159 per week. We multiply this amount by 4.25. This totals CHF 675, 75 per month. This amount is due even if your child is sick or on vacation. The holidays at Christmas (2 weeks) and in the summer (3 weeks) as well as the above mentioned holidays are already taken into consideration in the pricing. A number of payment slips shall be sent to you showing our banking coordinates. The payments are to be executed before the beginning of the month. In the event of a delay in payment, there would be a CHF 20 fee charged with the reminder. Discount There is a 20% discount for the second child attending the c’Hiboulette.

Termination of the contract This contract is valid until c’Hiboulette is advised in writing of the termination request by the parents. Withdrawal from enrolment must be made in writing with two full calendar months’ notice. Even if the child does not come during the two months following this notification, the payments are due under this contract. Adaptations Certain children need more time than others to adapt to a new environment. This is decided according to the child, and with the agreement of the parents. We therefore provide a little flexibility during the child’s first days at c’Hiboulette. After the enrolment, the initial contact with the staff and with the child and his/ her parents takes place for approximately 30 minutes at the school. It is an opportunity for the staff to get to know the habits of the child and to bond with the child and his/her parents. A plan of adaptation is established to make sure that the needs of the child are met in order to facilitate his integration. Confidence between parents/staff is essential, but takes time. We are there to reassure the child as much as the parents during this time of separation. Absences Absences due to family holidays or sickness are not deducted from the school fees nor could be recovered during the current year. In case of prolonged absence, the contract is cancelled. The school vacation periods as well as official holidays cannot be deducted from the school fees or otherwise recovered.

Sickness Below, you will find a list of contagious sicknesses, produced by the Ministry of Health, specifically for daycare centres. We also remind you that, every morning, before leaving home, you have the responsibility to make sure that your child does not show signs of infection and does not have a fever above 38° and that s/he is able to participate in class activities. If you child shows signs of infection or fever, s/he will not be allowed to attend school. If your child falls ill during his/her time at the daycare and is not feeling well, a parent will be contacted and asked to come and fetch him/her. These precautions are taken in order to avoid any contagion of other children and to ensure the well being of your child. Administrating medicine: it is mandatory to fill out a medical discharge form for your child. To avoid our giving an extra dose of medicine to your child, please be so kind as to advise us whether s/he has already received a dose on the day. We thank you for your understanding. Meals Breakfast We will be serving breakfast every morning from 7h45-8h30. Breakfast which is generally considered the most important meal of the day could consist of, for example, juice/ fruit, cereal with milk/ bread and cheese and herbal /scented infusions. Snacks A selection of freshly cut fruit, usually seasonal and regional. Lunch Lunch is provided by a professional caterer who works with different schools and daycares. The caterer is “DSR”, a quality label. They work with fresh products and ingredients and also regularly give information about the origins of their products. Every Friday, we put up the daily menus for the coming week on the fridge door, in order for you to know what your child will be having everyday for lunch. Diverse During your child’s enrolment process, we kindly ask that you advise us of any particular dietary restrictions your child has to be provided for (for example: no pork, vegetarian, without gluten, etc) in order for us to make the appropriate order from the caterer.

Creative afternoons Afternoons will be particularly devoted to creative themes, but always in a bilingual setting and for educational purposes. Examples of topics covered : 1. “Music celebration”: Awareness of different instrumental sounds. Creation of instruments with recycling material. Bodily expression with music. 2. “Around the world on a plate”: Encountering through the five senses, of other cultures, festivals, and culinary dishes from around the world. 3. “Stories and puppets”: Introduction to listening to stories with special accompaniment. Creative activities related to stories.
