Data availability in China (residue, consumption, confidentiality) Pesticide residue in agricultural products of the produce bases and market of safe agricultural products has been monitoring by the Institute of Control Agrochemicals in Ministry of Agriculture since 2002. The results show that the problem that pesticide residue exceeds MRL (Maximum residue limit) has been gradually controlled. More than 10 kinds of pesticide residue in vegetables and fruits in over 30 major cities have been monitored, It is said the data available on the Institute ‘s website. 350 items of Rule for safety application of pesticides for 160 pesticides in more than 30 crop species have been established or revised by Institute for the Control Agrochemicals in Ministry of Agriculture The national standard maximum residue limit for 124 pesticides in 45 kinds of food have been established or revised by Ministry of Health (MOH) .
