the purpose of Medal Test Assessments is to help teachers provide structured and progressive learning for pupils. to encourage young people to maintain and develop their interest in Scottish dance. to improve their standard of dancing.
Objectives:

to develop steps, rhythm, phrasing, and use of hands. to teach a progression of formations. to increase awareness of the importance of group participation. to increase communication and other personal and interpersonal skills.
The Introductory Award is suitable for young children in their first year of dancing.
