Our next Senior Servants luncheon will be held on Tuesday, December 2. We will not meet on the usual 4th Tuesdays of November and December. Please come on December 2 at 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall at church. Seniors 50 and better are invited to come for lunch, which is provided for you. The food is free, the fellowship is free, and we have a good time. You do not need to be a member of our congregation to attend. Kids in your care can come with you. Please contact Bob or Bobbie Peeler at email [email protected] so we can plan on enough food. Transportation for those needing a ride will be provided upon request. See you there. Friday December 5: We will be distributing M&M’s at the City of Allen Christmas Tree Lighting, 6:30 pm.

Cleaning of the Church (before the Greening of the Church!) on 12/06/14 from 9:00 am to Noon. Come and help us get the Sanctuary ready for Christmas! Sunday December 7: We will be distributing M&M’s at the City of Allen Christmas Parade, 2:00 pm.

I Know Your Name: Gary Johnson will be available to take your picture on Sunday, December 7th. Great way to get the family picture for your Christmas cards! Bring everyone and have your picture taken as we beautify the sanctuary for the Christmas season. Picture taking now coincides with the first Sunday of each month called HOLY DONUT SUNDAY, so it is easy to remember. Gary Johnson or Steve Miller will be available to capture your family's picture for our congregational picture board. If you have a change in your family - new baby perhaps, or just want to update your current picture, stop by and have the picture taken and we will replace it. Don't be left out! If your family is scattered, come by to have just Mom and Dad's picture taken, and get a new picture of the children when they are in town. Another option - some families have emailed a digital 4" X 6" family photo from their own cameras, or brought a hard copy of a favorite picture and placed it in the church office. You can email a digital one to the church via Mary Schwerd, [email protected]. It can be from any source, (except Face book that does not print very well), cell phone, a Christmas picture, etc. Be sure to identify the people, add your address, phone numbers, email addresses, and whether you want to have your email address added to Cyberservant and Pastor's special emails. HOLY DONUT SUNDAYS!! DEC 7 & JAN 4 We have been enjoying HOLY DONUT SUNDAYS on the first Sunday of every month. Sunday, look for the sign up poster on the Kiosk. Make sure we are ready for 12/7 & 1/4! Opportunities to share: bring two dozen donuts - set up - prepare coffee - serve donuts - clean up. 2015 Pledge Drive Please remember that through December 7, everyone will be provided with the opportunity to complete two worksheets. The first is a “Ministry Worksheet” to help you identify how God has “wired you up” and in turn, help you “plug into” the activities and ongoing events of the congregation in which you might be interested. The second is a “Faith Response Card” on which will you may estimate of the amount your financial support of the church during the coming year. During our December 7thworship service everyone will be asked to place their worksheets on the altar as we collectively thank God for their receipt and His many blessings to us. The second of our two workshops to review and discuss a preliminary draft of Christ the Servant’s 2015 budget and Ministry Plans will be held Sunday, November 30, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. The final drafts of those documents will be presented for congregationalapproval during the Annual Meeting scheduled for January 25, 2015after that morning’s worship service. Christmas Light Display! Our next set-up day is Saturday, Dec. 6th, starting at 8:00 am. Shows begin on Sunday, December 7th. Four shows a night, starting hourly: 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm. Please consider helping during the show times. Helpers are needed for things such as donation collection, refreshments, crowd control. Details can be found on the poster in the Gathering Area.

Angel Tree: We will once again be providing gifts for children from Boyd Elementary with our Angel Tree. Look for the tree in the gathering area once we receive the information from Boyd. Contact Kathy Smith or Cathy Brown for questions.
