SUMMARY I have over 10 years of professional experience in teaching, mentoring and research in French and applied linguistics, languages in contact and sociolinguistics. I have taught beginner, intermediate and advance French levels courses in four universities in the United States namely Indiana University Bloomington, The University of Alabama, Missouri State University and Washington University in St Louis. My specific teaching and research interests include French language and culture, French linguistics, applied linguistics and languages in contact. In the past I have coordinated several language exchange programs abroad for students pursuing French as a second/foreign language. EDUCATION 2012-2016

RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2016-

French Lecturer and Co-coordinator- Washington University in St Louis: Responsibilities: Teach FR 308 and 307 (2 sections) courses, co-coordinate Level 1 and 2 French courses and help with the training of novice Teaching Assistants. FR308 focuses on the link between the study of language and literature with emphasis on French culture (customs, ideas, values, innovations). FR 307 focusses on Advanced French grammar.

Per Class Teaching Assistant-The University of Alabama: Responsibilities: Teaching of FR 323 course on Contemporary French and Francophone society and culture with emphasis on the roles journalism, literature, music and films. Main duties include teaching, tutoring, advising and assessing students’ performance.

Linguistics Instructor- Linguacation (an online service that offers classes in less taught languages and linguistics): Responsibilities: develop syllabus to teach online linguistics (Applied linguistics, French linguistics) and African languages (Akan/Twi).
