LOCALISE EU Research Project, Local worlds of social cohesion 7th Framework Programme EU Italian team, based in Bocconi University, Milan. Coordinator Prof. Paolo R. Graziano
Position: Junior Assistant Researcher Radical changes in the local governance of social cohesion in many Member States of the European Union are the focus of LOCALISE's research on the
organisational challenges of an integrated social and employment policy. LOCALISE project integrates multiple disciplines and partners experienced in European and Social Policy research. I was charged to edit Work Packages 6 and 7 about interventions’ level of individualization and active policies at local level for the Italian case-study. I also conducted the relative field work (semi-structured interviews to public employment service case-workers and job-seekers).

BLOW UP SENIOR Research Project, Arci association (Associazione Ricreativa Culturale Italiana) Mantova, Italy Position: Co-principal Investigator I was part of a team of researchers encharged by local direction of Arci (the biggest social- cultural association in Italy) to write a report on the services and functioning of three main italian civil associations: Acli, Arci and Auser. The analysis was focused on socially relevant services provided to elderly people in the associations considered. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used for the research. (Forthcoming publication).

BLOW UP Research Project, Arci association (Associazione ricreativa culturale italiana) Mantova, Italy Position: Co-principal Investigator I was part of a team of researchers encharged by the local direction of Arci (the biggest social- cultural association in Italy) to write a report on local youth cultural needs and the perception they have about cultural offer provided by these territorial youth circles. We used qualitative techniques and structured questionnaires in order to construct a quantitative SPSS database.

YOUNEX EU Research Project, Youth, unemployment and social exclusion 7th Framework Programme EU Italian team, based in Bocconi University Coordinator Prof. Simone Baglioni
Position: Intern (first 6 months), Junior Assistant Researcher (till August 2011) The YOUNEX project is a research project financed by European Commission in the field of Seventh framework program. Project’s main goal is to investigate how precariousness and long term unemployment affect social involvement among young population. The project has been conceived as a comparison between six different countries with different socio-political institutions and working conditions. I followed different steps of the project : institutional, organizational analysis, interviews and qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis of the database using SPSS. I wrote my Master dissertation on project’s topics. June – July 2009
Research Assistant for Prof. Paolo Graziano Bocconi University, Milan Position: Junior Researcher I collaborated with Prof. Paolo R. Graziano conducting some interviews for two projects. One project was about european cohesion policy, for which I interviewed some governmental and institutional actors mainly in Rome, and the
second project was about family conciliation policies in Italy for which I focused on both social and institutional stakeholders (ministries, political parties, labor unions).
