STOP BALL : EQUIPMENT :

Volleyball

PLAYING FIELD :

Any open space

PROCEDURE :

Two equal teams ( a fielding team and a batting team ) The bowler bowls underarm to the batter. The ball should bounce once. The batter hits the ball forward with the hand and commences running as many times as possible around his/her team. Tippety run ( ie: any time the ball is hit the batter must run ). Hits behind are a foul / misses are a strike. Once the ball is gathered by a fielder all the fielders run in and line up behind the fielder who gathered the ball. At the call of “STOP” the number of circuits of the batting team that the runner made is calculated and added to the batting teams total. Batters are out if the their hit is caught on the full.
