3 Client ZeePrint V 3.5 ZeePrint is a software that allows to compress the print stream coming from ADP's Citrix servers. A generic printer named ZeePrint is installed on the server. The printer converts the print jobs Acrobat ® files in PDF format. ZeePrint allows users to send the printings to a local printer installed on PC, or to save the documents on PDF format. For technical matters only : the product installation will copy the following files "vdISprtN.dll", "vdZPrntN.dll" and "ZeePrintTray.exe" in ICA client’s installation folder. ZeePrint is accessible through the blue icon “ZeePrint” located in ‘system tray’ in the task bar. The client ZeePrint is a program automatically activated on the user’s PC once it’s connected to the outsourcing server. If you’re not connected to a Citrix server you can’t see the icon below: A left click on this icon opens the dialog box below, The explanations are in the next page. The classic configuration would be: - Uncheck the option (preview) « Prévisualisation » - Select the impression mode (Default printer) « Imprimante par défaut »

ZeePrint printing's chain principle: - In ADP's "outsourcing server", all impressions are converted into PDF colored files, A4 format. - ZeePrint will take in charge the transport of the PDF file generated on ADP's outsourcing server and send it to the user's PC - Then the document printing consists on sending the PDF file to the printer designated by ZeePrint client settings. It relies only on the local setting of the PC, no direct link with the outsourcing server.
