01/ Access to innovation EXPO Milano 2015 The Came group is proud to have opened the doors to over 21 million visitors from all around the world participating in EXPO Milano 2015. Not only was it the biggest event in the world dedicated to food, but also an opportunity for unprecedented technological growth for the company and for Italy. With the XVia turnstile and the access control system, both designed especially for the Universal Exposition, Came contributed to the implementation of the most important Italian project for a Digital Smart City. A goal achieved in terms of innovation and modernisation, thanks to the group’s ability to propose innovative solutions and cooperate effectively with the event’s main technology partners. EXPO Milano 2015 marked a milestone in the journey of innovation that Came has undertaken in the home and building solutions and special projects market.

2009 / Launch of the Came Domotic System, a division specialised in home automation and security systems. Thanks to the integration of Came and Bpt, today the group has managed to create a new home automation system, Came Domotic 3.0, where connectivity plays a key role in the complete management of homes and buildings. 1998 / Creation of the first parking meters where you can pay using your mobile, in Spain. The first step towards the creation of increasingly intelligent parking systems, able to integrate effectively in the management of the city.
1987 / The patent is filed for CAT. A solution as simple
as it is brilliant, that allows you to demarcate parking facilities and private spaces. For years, it has been used in historic centres to control pedestrian zones or areas subject to traffic restrictions.

1983 / Invention of the first programmable thermostats with cursors. An innovative solution to temperature management: the first step towards home automation.
1972 / Launch of the legendary A1, the first motor designed by Paolo Menuzzo. Today, the legacy of that early technology is Frog, the underground motor patented by Came and popular worldwide.

For this reason, Came certifies its products, making use of partnerships with authoritative bodies and accredited test houses. Since early 2015, Came has invested significant resources in the structuring of a new asset within the company, setting up a laboratory for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrical Safety (LVD) testing.
