2013 ARCHDIOCESAN ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL CONTINUES “ Love Never Fails!” 1 Cor 13:8

Many of you have responded to the Annual Catholic Appeal mailing from Cardinal George. On behalf of those served by the ministries and services funded by the ACA, we thank you for your gifts. If you received the mailing and have not responded, please do so as soon as possible.

CANCER SUPPORT The next meeting of the St. Juliana Parish Cancer Support Group will be on Tuesday, January 29th, at 7:00 p.m., in the parish center lounge. This meeting will focus on cancer support. If you have been recently diagnosed, or would just like to attend to give, receive support or share your experience we hope you will join us. If anyone needs help in the interim, contact Tina Pusateri at 773.775.8789 or e mail [email protected], and put cancer support in the subject line.

In addition to providing for ministries and services throughout the Archdiocese, the Appeal also funds services that are of great help to other ministries here in our parish. This year, the theme of the Appeal is: “Love Never Fails”! In his first letter to the Corinthians Paul instructs that love is greatest virtue. God loves us always. He gives us everything. As we contemplate His gifts to us, we should also reflect on our gratitude for these gifts. Your financial support for the work our parish, of our Archdiocese and of the Church throughout the world is, in fact, one way to express this gratitude. Please give generously to the 2013 Annual Catholic Appeal. When our parish reaches its goal of $53,060 in paid pledges, 100% of the additional funds received will be returned to us for use in our parish.
