Colorful Bollywood on ITB

For India Tourism BZ.COMM organized a big Bollywood spectacle to attract more visitors to the India Tourism booth on ITB. Just like in 2014 we wanted to draw as much attention as possible to the booth by using the positive effect that Bollywood music and dance performances had on the fair visitors. The supporting program included a Saree folding contest, a colorful Bollywood dance workshop and relaxing Yoga classes. It was shared on Social media and picked up by traditional media.

For our South American client LATAM Airlines Group we organized a well designed cooking evening with famous Argentinian chef Chakall and a sommelier for a Chilean wine tasting. The airline invited their most important clients thus strengthened business relationships in a relaxed atmosphere while preparing a 3-course dinner together. The organization included invitation management, the production of give-aways for the guests, coordination with the sommelier for the wine tasting including the selection of wines as well as the selection of the menu in accordance with the chef.

More youth for the ITB booth

We created a brand-new booth for ITB 2015 for our longtime client Vietnam Airlines. It was the perfect timing for a new trade show presence due to the new aircraft B787-9 (Dreamliner) addition to the Vietnam Airlines fleet. We conceived a well-arranged, open and state-of-the-art booth. 115,000 trade visitors and 10,096 exhibitors from over 186 countries saw the Vietnam Airlines booth. Back to school

We wanted to increase awareness of Palm Springs among the German travel trade and created an E-learning for travel agencies and tour operators. We designed three different E-learning contents. Travel experts had to answer product questions in all lessons and were able to participate in a drawing. The first prize was a trip to Palm Springs including flights, accommodation and entry tickets to major sights. The E-learning was very successful with more than 1,000 participating travel agents over a period of six months.

Pajama party with a star Our brief was to open the easyHotel with a bang! In order to increase the awareness and to draw even more attention to the opening, we got celebrity support by Senna Gammour – a trendy, young and real Frankfurt girl with about 800,000 fans on Facebook and 500,000 followers on Instagram. Senna promoted the event on her social media channels and we selected invitees through sweepstakes and also addressed important journalists. After a tour through the upcoming and bustling “Bahnhofsviertel” we transformed three entire floors of the hotel into a unique party venue with an open bar and a DJ. Social Media is of utmost importance for low-budget hotels like easyHotel. Within this campaign it was the viral star and generated lots of Facebook likes.

As in the years before, BZ.COMM organized the intimate golf weekend completely with hotel accommodation, joint dinners and golf tournament in 2015.

Blogger´s Paradise In autumn 2015 we have supported a blogger action of Tour Operator Viventura. Blogger could apply for the dream job in Brazil by using the hashtag #blogdichinsparadies. In the end Annika Ziehen (www.midnightblueelephant.com) was able to prevail against a multitude of competitors. BZ.COMM as an expert for digital media established the contact with bloggers and supported the action with press releases and the invitation of bloggers.

Beach up your life For Sanya Tourism Promotion we invited up to 60 guests, including tour operators, airlines, journalists, travel agencies and opinion leaders during ITB for an evening event in the hip location Bikini Berlin. We organized a raffle for travel agents with a leading German travel trade magazine. Participants could hand in their best beach picture and the five winners were invited to go on a famtrip to Sanya in order to become familiar with the beachlife.

Gate to the world In October 2015 we organized two gate events for our airline clients Vietnam Airlines and Sri Lankan Airlines. We have accompanied SriLankan Airlines in the planning, implementation and follow-up of the event. The guest list contained principal product managers of German tour operators as well as journalists from the most important tourist media in Germany. There was a tour through the new Airbus A330-300 and a common lunch where First and Business Class food was served. A press release was sent concomitantly. Vietnam Airlines´ new Dreamliner started its first commercial flight from Frankfurt to Hanoi. About 50 staff members from travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and media representatives participated in this event. BZ.COMM also selected two journalists from German airline magazines for a subsequent famtrip to Vietnam.

Road(show) to success The roadshow for China Southern Airlines went along with a massive media promotion on all channels like TV, radio and social media. Videos and photos of the roadshow were posted by the office in Amsterdam on relevant Social Media accounts of the airline. Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram were used during the campaign.

The place to be on ITB Our ITB Hotel of Communication exists since 2010: as the only PR agency we rent an entire hotel during the ITB in Berlin. We established it as an industry meeting point and created a networking platform for the greatest possible number of our customers, partners and fellow journalists. 85 journalists stayed in our hotel. About 350 guests from outside including tour operators and other journalists came to our press breakfasts and attended evening events of our clients.
