A guide to using the CIMA Development Partner logo 1. About the brand CIMA is recognised across the world as the authority on management accounting. The CIMA brand reflects our strategic direction which is spearheaded by our purpose: ‘The ever greater employability of CIMA members.’ To maintain and build the brand it is important that there is consistent use of colour, size and positioning of the logo, which builds awareness and recognition of the logo and the CIMA brand.
2. Basic elements Where to use the CIMA Development Partner logo As a CIMA Development Partner you can use the CIMA Development Partner logo. When applied correctly, the CIMA Development Partner logo can add value and credibility to the appearance of your marketing materials, promoting your relationship with CIMA. It is recommended that your designer and printer read this guide at an early stage.
Logo colours a. Standard logo The CIMA Development Partner logo should always be used in CIMA light blue. The two colour version of the logo is the standard logo and may be printed as either two spot colours or using the four colour breakdown.

Displayed are the pantone references for the colours that form the CIMA Development Partner logo, together with their equivalents in CMYK, RGB, LAB and websafe colour matches. Please note the CMYK breakdowns are bespoke to CIMA colours and are not set breakdowns found in any software applications. No tints should be used on the CIMA Development Partner logo.

b. Mono logo The mono/single colour black version of the CIMA Development Partner logo should be used for black and white communications only. Do not print the colour logo in greyscale.
c. Single colour logo Single colour versions of the CIMA Development Partner logo, featuring the CIMA name in white out, may be used on one colour communications.
d. Keyline logo For designs using one colour or one colour plus black with solid colour backgrounds, the keyline version of the logo should be used. This white out logo should also be used if the logo is to be placed on a solid colour background.

Logo size and exclusion zone The size of the CIMA Development Partner logo should be proportional to the size of the page on all printed publications. Shown below are the set logo sizes for standard paper sizes, all of which incorporate a set ‘exclusion zone’. The exclusion zone is designed to maintain a consistent clear distance from the edge of the page and other elements such as copy, other logos and images that may distract from the logo. The exclusion zone is a set standard to ensure consistent positioning and should therefore be adhered to at all times. Logo positioning The CIMA Development Partner logo may be used in a variety of positions, to suit the design of your marketing materials. However, the logo position should always adhere to the set exclusion zones and the logo should always be legible against the background image or design.
