Baptism The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated every Sunday at a 1:00 PM ceremony in the Main Church. Parents must attend a baptismal class and should be registered members of the parish as well as regularly attend Mass here. Marriage Engaged couples must make an appointment with the priest you want to perform your marriage at least six months to a year in advance. That priest will guide you through all preparation. Diocesan regulations require a marriage preparation program for all couples. Mother’s Day Spiritual Bouquet Cards are available at the doors of the Church this weekend. This card is a Mass card for intentions at the Holy sacrifice of the Mass at St. Barnabas for Mothers who are LIVING. The Story of Knock began on August 21, 1879 when the Blessed Mother, Saint Joseph and St. John appeared at the parish church in Knock. Fifteen persons witnessed the apparition who watched and prayed for two hours. The message these 15 people came away with was the need for penance.

Requirement for all persons in contact with children. If you are a volunteer or a part-time worker who works with children you are required to take Safer Places Training otherwise you will not be allowed to take part in the programs for which you have applied. This applies to coaches, catechists, playgroup, cafeteria workers, scout leaders, etc. Full time workers with children have stricter requirements and should see their supervisor to make arrangements for the appropriate training.
