Thursday The team is still traveling!! (Uganda time – 7 hours ahead). PRAY for safe connections. PRAY for physical strength to endure 26 hours of travel time. PRAY for all to pass through customs smoothly and safely. PRAY for safety during late night travel to the hotel. PRAY for a good night’s rest.

The team will be traveling via automobile to their first destination. PRAY for safety on the road. PRAY for a trouble free boarder crossing. PRAY the Lord to prepare their hearts for service.

Sunday The team will travel to minister with Bishop George at the Deliverance Church. PRAY for Pastor Ron to bring a powerful word of encouragement. PRAY for the team to be a blessing to the Kenyan congregation. PRAY for our unity to be strengthened with the Kenyan believers.

Monday

The team will spend the day ministering to the children and teachers at the Children’s Home. PRAY for stamina in ministry as the team reaches the halfway point of their time in Africa. PRAY that God will continually refresh each member of the team as the days pass. PRAY that good relationships will develop with the people they meet or have met. PRAY for spiritual conversations to occur with the relationships built.

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive...as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Wednesday The team will explore the city and possibly visit a couple of other ministries. PRAY that the team would be led to divine appointments. PRAY that God would deepen the lessons that He has taught them. PRAY that the team would find words to share their experiences. PRAY that their hearts are being prepared to return home.

Tuesday

The team follows a “typical” daily been schedule, going wherever they have scheduled. Thursday

The team will begin the long trek home with a stop off to visit with Peter Sozi & Dr. Rick Rogers natives of Murfreesboro, TN. After a 9-hour road trip across the border and 6-hour visit, the team will board the long flight home. PRAY for physical strength. PRAY for the team to be filled with the joy of the Lord. PRAY for a smooth process through customs and boarding the plane. PRAY for a safe flight on the first leg of the trip to Amsterdam.

Saturday The team departs. The team will spend the night in the home of Rosa Sibabor. PRAY for protection and quick passage through security of the treatment system components. PRAY for safe travels. PRAY for the Sibabor household. Rosa’s husband Ely, an apostolic leader in Guatemala passed away less than 2 years ago from brain cancer.

Scripture to Pray:

“Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield” (Psalm 5:11-12). “Whatever house you enter, first   say, ‘Peace be to this house!’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him” (Luke 10:5-6a).

Sunday The team will attend church, then begin a 5-hour drive to the far western portion of the country. PRAY for Eduardo and Marissa Paredes, our hosts and guides for this trip. PRAY for our safe arrival at the dorm, which will serve as our base of operation for most of the trip.

Monday The team will repair earthquake damage to a water system. The team will also inspect and make repairs on systems in a few other towns. PRAY for the team to have access to any needed supplies to repair the systems. PRAY for the pastors of the churches in which these systems are located. PRAY for opportunities to show the love of Jesus to the townspeople. PRAY for favorable weather. The daily forecast for this area during the week preceding the trip is for temperatures in the upper 80’s with an 80% chance of thunderstorms.

Tuesday The team will work at the dorm to assemble a new water system. PRAY for a smooth assembly process. PRAY for the team to enjoy the work the Lord has called them to, and to remember that He is the center and purpose for all they do. PRAY for the health of the team. PRAY for Aqua Alive and Esfuerzo Christiano, the ministries who provide the blessing of these water systems.

Scripture to Pray: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). “For we are laborers together with God…” (1Corinthians 3:9 KJV).

Wednesday

The team will travel into the mountains to install the newly built system. The team will also inspect and make repairs on systems in two other towns. PRAY for the name of Jesus to be lifted up as the new system is dedicated and begins providing clean water. PRAY for a sweet spirit of fellowship between the team and the townspeople. PRAY for safety as the team travels through the mountains.

“Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’ The woman said to him, ‘Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water’” (John 4:13-15).

The team will finish inspecting the existing systems in the mountains and scout out potential sites for future systems. PRAY for the Lord’s direction in selecting future sites. PRAY for the Holy Spirit to indelibly write on the heart of each team member the purposes to which God has called this team to these towns at this appointed time.

PRAY for safe passage of the team an d a quick return to their families. PRAY that an altar would be built in th e spirit of each team member so that they and their future generations can look upon this and giv e glory to God. PRAY for wisdom on how to use this simple system to advance the Kingd om and draw people to the "Living Water.”
