Welcome to the Taber Christian Reformed Church this Sunday as we gather to praise our God. We invite you for coffee and juice in the Fellowship Hall after the service this morning. Sermon Series: This morning we wrap up our series on "Remembering the Sabbath" as we talk about Feasting! After the service please join us for a time of feasting over a soup and bun lunch to help us celebrate this theme! This afternoon Pastor Ken will lead us in our service looking at the commandment "You shall not commit adultery." Please join us for an informative lesson. This afternoon Pastor Brian will be leading the worship service at Grace Reformed church in Lethbridge as Rev. Oord's father-in-law passed away recently.

Abuse Policy – In order to provide a Safe Church environment for all our youth and those with disabilities we require all leaders, helpers and volunteers to provide a completed Police Information Check. If you received a form in your mailbox, please provide this to either the Taber Police Department or the RCMP. Our policy is to renew the checks every three years. Council asks for your prompt attention is getting this done. Please return completed checks to Staci Muller. Thank you CHOIR PRACTICE: Due to the soup and bun lunch we will be skipping practice this Sunday, but we hope to have a practice instead THIS Thursday, November 12 from 7:00pm to approximately 8:30pm. We understand not all of you will be able to come but would love to see as many of you as possible. And it is never too late to join!

Youth Rock Climbing: Next Saturday, November 14th we will be meeting at 1:00 to travel to Lethbridge for Rock Climbing. We have reserved the wall from 2:00-4:00. Please let Pastor Brian know by signing up on the sign-up sheet if you are planning on going or bringing a friend. We need to have a head count by today. We also have waiver forms we need you to fill out before going as well. Afterwards we will come back for some pizza and a movie if there is interest.

Gems Spaghetti Dinner/Bake Sale fundraiser - Everybody's invited to the GEMS annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, November 14th from 5-6:30 in the Taber Christian School Gym. Cost of the dinner will be by donation. We will also be having a Bake Sale that evening, so come have some supper and get a head start on your Christmas baking! Rehoboth - The Rehoboth Membership Campaign is wrapping up in the next few days. There is still time to donate by speaking to Pat Kempe or your canvasser or by going online to www.rehoboth.ab.ca. The decorating group is looking for 4 to 5 new people who are willing to decorate the church for Christmas. The night will feature Amy Ovinge & Brenda Kuyper with many other musical guests, and will include your favourite Christmas songs and much, much more (including selections from “Frozen” and the ”Sound of Music”). This event will be family-friendly so plan on bringing the whole gang! Mark your calendars for 7:00 pm5 on November 28, and hope to see you there! Prayer group: The prayer group meets on a regular basis, usually on Thursday afternoons at 2.30 pm at Janny DeVlieger's place. Whoever wants to join is very welcome to do so. Those who are committed to making the trip need to make a $200.00 deposit with Jan Pastink by Nov 22 so that your tickets can be purchased ASAP. When you submit your deposit, please include a photocopy of your Passport: the page with your personal information and Passport Number, date of birth, and date of expiration of your Passport, etc: That way, hopefully, we won't make any errors purchasing your tickets to San Diego and back. Young Adults and Young Families Chili Cookoff - Mark it on your calendars! Time to start perfecting your chili recipe - the annual chili cook off will be held at James and Miriam Bekkering's shop in Taber on Saturday, November 21st. More details to follow. Young Adults Bible Study -There will be a Bible Study held at Pastor Brian's house on Wednesday, Nov. 25th at 8pm. Come on out for an informal evening of discussion and refreshments!

School News Taber Christian School - Our Remembrance Assembly will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 8:45 am. Everyone is welcome to join us as we reflect on the meaning of Remembrance Day. Immanuel Christian School is pleased to present Bazaar Day Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Immanuel Christian High School 802 – 6 Avenue, North Lethbridge, AB If you have any questions please contact the Business Office, 403-327-4223. Community / Regional / National News Bruce Rawling has released a new CD titled “Forgiven”. They are all songs that he has written, and are songs which speak about his faith in Jesus. It is Bruce and Bonnie’s desire that God could use these CDs to encourage people to grow closer to Jesus, and to also make him known to people who don't know already him. CD’s are $20.00 each and are available through Staci Muller You are invited to join us for a wonderful evening of praise and worship music on the evening of Nov. 9th, at 7:15 p.m. featuring SEAN DAYTON, GMA Canada award winner, SEAN will be performing live at the Nobleford Christian Reformed Church. All women are invited to “Come to the Fair”! Join us for an enjoyable morning, including a BRUNCH, on Tuesday, November 10th at 9:30 a.m. at the Heritage Inn Banquet Room. Come out for a wonderful brunch, entertainment, and bring a friend. Peter Wildeman, an organist from the Netherlands hopes to perform in Southminster United Church on Wednesday, Nov. 18. He will be joined by local musicians Keith Griffioen, Evelyn Verhoef, Daniella Neels, and 'Praise the Lord' choir - Leanne Slingerland, director. Doors open at 6:45, concert begins at 7:30. The concert proceeds will be for the Interfaith Food Bank in Lethbridge. There will be a free will offering, and non-perishable food items are also gratefully accepted. Tickets can be purchased at the door (cash or cheque only), or pre-purchased at Dove Christian Book Supplies. SABC - With our summer camp season now over we are excited to let you know about our annual High School Camp-Tonic. It will be a weekend of fun activities, good food, great friends, energetic worship and much, much more. This will be a guaranteed hit with the youth of your church/community. The camp is on the weekend of November 20-22 starting at 7 pm on the Friday, and the cost will be $85 per student. Our speaker this year is Ryan Thacker, Youth Pastor at Park Meadows Baptist Church in Lethbridge. We are excited to have Ryan come share and challenge you and your youth in your relationships with Christ.
