Sir, Central University of Tamil Nadu, an institution setup by an Act of Parliament, invites sealed Tenders from reputed Prime Equipment Manufacturers/Authorized Distributors/Dealers for Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Split Air Conditioners as mentioned in Annexure-I. Name of the firm. Description [Catalogue with photographs]. The rate for the equipment may be quoted in INR. (Door Delivery at Neelakkudi Campus, Thiruvarur). CST/TIN Registration Number. VAT % Concessions, if any, for educational institutions. The Price quoted for equipment must include all costs associated with packing, transportation, transit insurance, all duties and levies, delivery of equipment, loading and unloading on DOOR DELIVERY basis to the university at Thiruvarur including its installation, commissioning, integration and validation. Firm delivery time and conditions of supply. Service and Warranty: The quote should include a warranty of THREE years from the date of commissioning/ installation of the equipment. Payment Terms: 100% after successful installation of the equipment through bank draft with a condition that a Performance Security of 10% of the value of the equipment covering the warranty period, which will extend upto 60 days beyond the warranty period, shall be submitted by the successful bidder. The Performance Security shall be in the form of Bank Guarantee. Validity of Tender should be for SIX months from the date of opening of the Tender. The bidder has to give an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/- that there is no vigilance/CBI case pending against the firms/supplier and the firm has not been black listed in the past by any Govt. or private organization. Application Fee of Rs.500/- should be sent in the form of Bank Demand Draft (DD) from any scheduled bank drawn in favour of Central University of Tamil Nadu payable at Thiruvarur. The bidder shall furnish, as part of its bid, an EMD for amount of Rs.25,000/- and that shall be interest free. The firm who are registered with NSIC or SSI are exempted to furnish the EMD and tender fee. Self-attested photocopy of valid registration certificate issued by competent authority must be enclosed with the tender documents. The intending Tenderer, in case of Authorized Distributor/Authorized Dealer shall possess Valid authorized Distributorship/Dealership license from Prime Equipment Manufacturers. The tenderer shall enclose the copy of the same in the bid while submitting the tender. Authorization letter from the manufacturer that the firm is an authorized dealer for supply. The undertaking enclosed has to be submitted along with the tender with relevant supporting documents. Tenders are to be sent by Registered/ Speed post only. Tenders sent without the required entries in the Bid Proforma will not be considered. Central University of Tamil Nadu reserves right to cancel the tender without assigning reasons thereof. The page number should be marked in all pages serially (including all supporting documents enclosed with the tender document) and the declaration for the same shall be submitted by the bidder as Annexure-IV. Copper pipe should be used between indoor and outdoor unit of the AC unit. 3. The condenser, liquid line and evaporator coil of the AC unit should be of copper coil. 4. The rate should be confirm and no subject to any variation thereof. 5. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of freight, excise duty, sales tax, transportation etc., 6. A warranty of 5 years for compressor and 1 year for machine shall be given for the AC unit invariably at the time of installation. 7. Payment will be paid only after satisfactory supply, installation and commissioning of the AC machines in the University premises. 8. The rates for the items to be quoted in the enclosed schedule format only otherwise, the quotation in any other format is considered as invalid quotation. 9. The tenderer/ bidder is required to provide a total implementation solution to CUTN which will include the following: a) Supply, Installation & Commissioning of Air Conditioners. b) Appropriate awareness training should be provided to the concerned officials of CUTN. c) All conducting, wiring and associated ducting. d) Any other services that may be required for the systems to be implemented and integrated with the rest of CUTN infrastructure. For this purpose, the tenderer/ bidder may visit CUTN premises to obtain any information they may require to design the total solution implementation for CUTN. Prices quoted should be FOR Institute premises and should be inclusive of all charges viz. installation, acceptance test and charges for three years onsite comprehensive warranty. 24 hours CRT (Call Resolution Time), 365 days including Saturdays and Sundays, off hours support, escalation Matrix up to three (3) level.
