Please join us as we gather once again to pray that the day will come when we can say, "Thank God, the death penalty is no more!” The Social Justice Ministry supports the challenge of our Catholic social teaching to join the campaign to end this culture of death and the use of the death penalty.

SAINT MARY'S DINING ROOM Did you know that St. Mary's Dining Room serves over 700 meals daily to the homeless in our Stockton community? Many volunteers support their effort during the holidays and Holy Days and this is wonderful; however, this ministry to our homeless happens every day — not just at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Would you be interested in serving breakfast or lunch any day of the year? Saint Mary's Dining Room depends on volunteers to share their time to make this successful. Individuals and families can "just show up" to help for 2-3 hour shifts. For more information check out their website: stmarysinterfaith.org, or call Art Ramirez at 467-0703 to find out times for the breakfast and lunch shifts.
