RECETA DE PROSPERIDAD RECIPE TO PROSPERITY

Juan 8:32

The secret of demonstrating prosperity in the spiritual way is to understand, that is, to know to the point of realization, that the one and only source of your supply is God, and that your business, employment, investments, your clients, are but the particular channel through which that supply is at the moment coming to you from God. Now, the practice of tithing with the right motive is really the concrete proof that you have accepted this position, and the invariable consequence of that acceptance is prosperity. It is quite easy now to see the difference between the spiritual practice and the material and useless practice of putting aside the tenth part (often grudgingly) in the hope of making a good investment. Having accepted the principle of tithing, the question arises as to how should be done. Tithing is devoted to the spreading abroad of the knowledge of Truth in one way or another, usually in support of those institutions or activities which are thus employed. Anyone who understand the spiritual idea, knows that the one and only thing the world needs to deliver it from its difficulties is knowledge of Spiritual Truth; that until a man comes to this knowledge, no other thing will really benefit him; that until this knowledge becomes general, no secular learning, no scientific discoveries, no schemes of social reform, no political reconstruction, can do any real good; and once this knowledge becomes general, all political and social problems will adjust themselves automatically, and all forms of charity and patronage become unnecessary. We know that by virtue of possessing the knowledge of the Truth of Being, we are nothing less than trustees for humanity. These who are without this knowledge will continue to donate their money to the promotion of general good Works, but we know that our first duty is the dissemination of Truth. “You will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.” John 8:32

Jimmy

Let’s not forget the essential Dear brethren, This Sunday’s Gospel cannot be more simple and clear. Sometimes we can fall into the temptation to get caught up in sterile insights and discussions seeking the Will of God. Today, Jesus refers us to the essential with an amazing clarity. He refers us to Love. Love is everything. What we are asked for in life is to love. That's the key. Loving God is simply to focus our life on Him to live everything according to His Will. We can then remove all kinds of consequences and lead, but the most important is to live before God and humanity in an attitude of Love.

On the other hand, it is difficult to see among Christians traits of modern selfishness where the ideal of life is to "feel good". Everything else comes later. The first thing is to improve the quality of life, to avoid everything that bothers us and ensure, in any way, our material, psychological and emotional well-being. Do not pick a quarrel with anyone, do not hurt others, and do not complicate your live. The result of all this is a society enclosed in itself, instated in its own welfare and lack of concern; along with it settles those who confess as Christians.

That is why Jesus added the second commandment. It is not possible to love God and live forgetful of the people who suffer and who God loves dearly. There is not a sacred space where we can understand ourselves alone with God with our backs to others. A love to God that forgets their children is a big lie. Those who love God know they cannot live in an attitude of apathy, carelessness and neglect of people. There is nothing in life more important than to be clear about this.

We become aware of these adhesions and limitations, we take note of it, but we do not sink or accommodate our nostalgia. Instead, we try to overcome through the only possible way we know, that is, getting closer to Jesus. Jesus, the embodied Love in our history. The more we deepen into Him, the more horizons will open. In Jesus, God reveals Himself as a closer and loved ‘you’. We are radically created for the encounter with this embodied ‘you’. The first disciples were transformed by their closeness with Jesus. The same intimacy will transform us the disciples of today.

Let no one think that, by speaking of God’s Love, we are talking about emotions or feelings toward an imaginary being, or talking about invitations to prayers and devotions. The total Love to God polarizes our whole being and is absolutely contagious to the meeting with each individual and situation. "To love God with all our heart" is to humbly acknowledge the ultimate mystery of life: to guide reality confidently according to His Will; to love God Father-Mother, who is good and loves us; to resist all that betrays His Will by denying the life and dignity of His creatures. Jesus confronts us with a language of wholeness: Loving God with all our heart, with all our soul and with all our being. Human beings respond to the language of desire, not to the reality fully accomplished. Then, as we wander on this earth, the deep-rooted ambiguity that lurks in the depths of our freedom steals a good part of the gifts we try to give entirely to God and our fellow men.

Dear brothers and sisters, God loves each of us unconditionally, and He invites us to live in His Love forever. The future is open. The horizon extends to us. The confidence of the person who knows who’s been trusted is the only foundation to overcome the limits fighting against them, while allowing us to accept ourselves as we are without being paralyzed in the existing condition. We pray with the Psalmist: “I love You, Lord; thou art my strength, my rock, my fortress and my deliverer”. God bless you and your families. My best regards. Fr. Jimmy
