Cannes is appreciated for its typical French Riviera atmosphere and small, friendly size. A maximum of 120 students accommodated on campus and 50-80 family hosted students. Cannes, French Riviera program is offered during: Summer: 29.06 – 16.08.2014 Arrival dates: - Every Sunday during the set program dates. - No class on national holidays: 15.08 The package price of 760€/week includes: Standard course (20 lessons x 45min) Accommodation (Host family) Full board Weekly activities and excursion program Supervision Return transfers (From Nice airport or Cannes station)

Cannes, the place to be in summer Third largest city of the French Riviera, famous worldwide and conveniently located after Monaco & Nice and before Saint Tropez, Cannes is the trendy place to be, especially for students: aside from the luxury world of the Croisette, Cannes has a majority of free beaches and cheaper places to eat and have fun. Cannes is clean and safe. It is a reasonably sized city where it is easy to settle in and go around.

Standard course 20 lessons x 45min/week From Monday to Friday 9am-12.15pm*. 15 students maximum per class. Intensive course 26 lessons x 45min/week From Monday to Friday 9am-12.15pm* and on Tuesday and Thursday 1:30pm-3:45pm. 15 students maximum per class in the morning, 6 in the afternoon. ESABAC preparation course 29 lessons x 45min/week from Monday to Friday 9am-12.20pm* and on Tuesday and Thursday 2.00pm4.00pm. 15 students maximum per class in the morning, 6 in the afternoon. Session dates : 28.07-10.08.2014 Individual course. Number of lessons on request. Notes: - *15 min. break in the morning - No classes on the first day: Introduction meeting and visit of the city in the morning. Written and oral tests at 1:30pm. - No classes on public holidays the lessons are neither replaced nor refunded except for the individual classes.

Our spacious student housing in the heart of Cannes is just a 15-20 minute walk from the Cannes festival and beaches. SETTING: This building is classified as a historic monument, can hold up to 120 students and is just a mile and a half from local beaches and "La Croisette". This campus has classrooms, double rooms, an above-ground pool, a large self-service restaurant and grounds for outdoor recreation, all conveniently located on the same site.

ROOMS: Spacious twin rooms Private bathroom (shower and toilets) shared by 2 twin rooms*. MEALS AND COURSES: Courses are held on the premises. All meals are taken on-site with the exception of weekend's excursions days (packed lunch provided). We take the greatest care in selecting our host families and we visit them on a regular basis. SETTING: Our host families are all located within Cannes city limits. ROOMS: Double rooms* MEALS: Breakfasts and dinners are taken at the host families’ house or as a packed lunch provided by the hosts during weekend's excursions days. Lunches are taken at the school cafeteria. Notes: - *15 min. break in the morning - No classes on the first day: Introduction meeting and visit of the city in the morning. Everyday after the lessons and meals, we offer a varied program of excursions and/or activities (no excursion the weekends of your arrival/departure). They all are organized and supervised by our tour leaders.

EACH WEEK: Excursions: - A day trip to "Lerins Islands", Nice or to a nautical theme park. - One half-day excursion to "Marineland" dolphin park, Antibes or to Monaco. Afternoon's activities: - One afternoon of sailing. - Our tour leaders organize various activities such as sport tournaments, games, themed activities, entertainment... Evening's activities: - One barbecue evening or one thematic evening (on the premises). - On Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings: "authorization to go out" of minimum 16 years old.. - All other nights, students will spend their time with their host family.

KIOSK ACTIVITIES (to be booked and paid for on the spot): In addition to our activity program, there is a choice of extra activities such as water-skiing, horseriding> These activities are provided by carefully selected national instructors or adequately qualified external providers to ensure the greatest standards of safety.

Arrivals are on Sundays and departures are on Saturdays, however, it is possible to reserve one extra day upon arrival and/or before departure. Arrival/departure transfers (included): Students will be met by their host family in Nice/Côte d’Azur international airport or in Cannes train station. Transfers from Mondays to Fridays are charged at 50€/trip/person Please make sure we receive the the compulsory arrival & departure, going out and health form prior to the student’s arrival. You may use your own form, as long as all mandatory information (see our form) are mentioned.

HOW TO REACH CANNES At 28 km from Nice/Cote d’Azur international airport, Cannes is very easy to reach from anywhere in the world : Only 7 hours from New-York (direct flights) Less than 2 hours from the major European capitals (direct flights) Only 1:20 hours from Paris by plane (direct flights) and at 4:30 hours by high speed train (TGV).

MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION WITHIN CANNES BY FOOT The families, the beach, downtown and all activities are all within reasonable walking distances of one another (bus may be needed for a short period of time). SCOOTERS Scooters and small motorbikes are very practical. Rentals start at 30€ per day

BY BUS Good and convenient network. The service operates until 8pm. A bus pass costs around 10€/week a bus journey costs only 1€. TAXIS One way trip costs from 15€ depending on the trip. TRAIN AND BUS Link all the cities along the coast at a frequency of about 1 every 20 minutes every day. Stations are never far away from the beaches .

A MEDITERRANEAN CLIMATE Cannes has an average of 300 sunny days per year (and 25km of sandy beaches!)

WHAT TO WEAR Summer season: Students are advised to pack comfortable clothes including sport and swimming outfits. Sun protection is necessary (hat and sunscreen). A light jacket may be necessary for the evenings.
