BROWNCOUNTY PLANT AND FLOWER SHOW ARTISTIC ARRANGEMENT DIVISION Premiums - $3.00 $2.50 *Due in Floral Hall Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Walk-thru Gate will be open for drop off. 1) PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW ALL FLORAL HALL GENERAL RULES AND ENTRY INFORMATON. 2) The Flower Show is open to all amateur Brown County residents. NO PROFESSIONAL FLORISTS PLEASE. 3) Judging will begin at Noon. The Flower Show area will be open to participating exhibitors during Judging. The Judge will offer an oral explanation of results to the exhibitors. The Judge’s decision is Final. 4) All Plant material used in arrangements must be natural (no silk/plastic, no dyes). Plant material may come from any source unless stipulated in the class description. Plant materials include but are not limited to fresh or dried flowers, foliage, branches, vines, fruits, nuts, vegetables, berries, grains, grasses. 5) Accessories (mirrors, figurines, toys, etc.) may be used in an arrangement to enhance it, but not as a background. 3) Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m. The area will be open to participating Exhibitors during Judging. The Judge will offer an oral explanation of the results to the Exhibitors. The Judge’s decision is Final. 4) Horticultural Specimen MUST be presented in clear vases. Spent specimen will be removed by the Floral Hall Committee. Empty vases will be stored in a designated area. 5) Potted Plants may be brought in on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. 6) Potted Plants MUST be displayed in clean containers and be “pest and disease free”. 7) ALL Horticulture (Specimen) Entries must be labeled with common name written on the back of the Entry Tag.
